Ask Ted Intro

New feature.

Akin to others with their “Ask Me Anything” features, I am introducing Ask Ted in which readership can ask questions that I will answer – assuming I believe that the questions are appropriate. The questions should be asked at my Gab account:

https://gab.com/tedsallis

For the foreseeable future, the Ask Ted answers will be provided in written form at the EGI Notes blog.  At some point in the future, if I add an audio feature to my work, then the answers will move from written to verbal form.  But for now, as my work is currently all written, I see no point in waiting to implement this new feature.

The format will be that I will note the name of the person asking, state the question, and then answer it. Therefore, always use a pseudonym when asking a question, since that will be posted, unless of course you are an already publicly known figure, in which case if you want to use your real name, feel free to do so.  I just want to make it plain that the question askers will be identified, so the readership has some evidence I’m not just making up the questions myself.

Unlike others, I will NOT be soliciting “donations” in exchange for answering your questions. Of course, I reserve the right to ignore and reject any questions that I, for whatever reason, do not want to answer. For example, keep in mind that I am not a public figure; I will not answer any personal questions about myself, so do not ask such.

The utility of this feature will be up to the readership. If I get (reasonable and appropriate) questions they will be answered.  If I get few or no questions, then the feature will of course be useless. The ultimate purpose of the feature is to promote interaction among readers/supporters of The Sallis Groupuscule, promote the work of the Groupuscule, and encourage readers/supporters to become more active in promoting the ideas discussed here.

The frequency of the answers will in part depend upon how many questions, if any, I receive – I would like to accumulate a reasonable number of questions before answering. At most, a few times per month at most; less frequent if there are few or any questions.
