“Not sending their best” – do such exist?  Seriously though, who knew about this? Who heard about these rallies before they occured? I never heard about it until I read this news story. I didn’t read about it on any of the “movement” sites I usually look at. This appears to be just the typical retarded activity coming from third–tier activists, who now represent pro-White activism to the public, since the first-tier “leaders” have abdicated any responsibility and now are for the most part grifting for “D’Nations,” with second-tier people simply blogging and watching the disaster unfold.

What Der Movement always fails to understand is that abject failure is much worse than doing nothing. If doing nothing is baseline, abject failure is a net negative. And “doing nothing” is not literally “doing nothing,” but is, or should be, the sort of quiet, behind-the-scenes organizing and infrastructure building I espouse. While, in this context, “doing something” is typically these sorts of poorly thought out, completely infiltrated, and predictably failed, public activities that the Type Is specialize in.  If you are going to do something that is virtually guaranteed to fail, then don’t do it at all. You damage “movement” morale, boost the morale of the opposition, and, worst of all, discredit and delegitimize the pro-White “movement” in the eyes of Whites who may be generally sympathetic but who do not want to get involved with a bunch of retards and nitwits. 

When I say “predictably failed” and “virtually guaranteed to fail,” I mean just that.  Who thought that “White Lives Matter” rallies, organized by lower-level “activists” with zero organizational skills and zero operational security, had the slightest chance of being anything other than a humiliating embarrassment? Without the necessary infrastructure, and social-community support, to pull something like this off, it is absolutely guaranteed to fail.

Wow, we are all real surprised by that, aren’t we? “Extreme vetting” in action. In Der Movement, if you acquire a total of five vetting points, you are allowed in. Here are the criteria:

Are you Swedish, if yes – five points.

Are you a founding stock WASP, if yes – four points.

Are you homosexual, if yes – three points.

Are you a film critic, if yes – two points.

Are you a college student interested in the Alt Right, if yes – three points.

Are you a “beautiful male,” if yes – three points.

Do you do coke at racialist meetings, if yes – two points.

Do you say, “Arthur Kemp was right” when a genetics paper comes out completely disproving Kemp, if yes – two points.

Do you give “D’Nations” to Quota Queens, if yes – three points.

Do you assert that you agree with "movement" dogma, if yes - two points.

Have you dated an Asiatrix, if yes - one point.

Are you a heterosexual White ethnic, if yes - negative 100 points.

Note that merely asserting any of the above is sufficient to receive the "extreme vetting" points. You don't actually have to prove anything.

Beyond legal consequences, self-described antifa activists have made it costly to be associated with far-right and racist groups, many of them using online sleuthing to match participants at extremist rallies to their real-life identities and employers. 

A half-century of complete failure and the lack of building an infrastructure and an alternative economy created the conditions where that is possible.

Mainstream online platforms where extremists were once welcomed have also tightened their policies about violent extremist content and groups.

This situation is what exists after decades of activism and millions of dollars invested through supporter donations and membership dues. Do you all of you rank-and-file guys yet understand the depth, the extent, of the utter failure of your “leaders?”  Do you understand why the affirmative action program is so pernicious and destructive?

The realignment and the lack of cohesive leadership don’t lessen the threat from extremist groups, however.

There is no threat. There never was any threat. And with current “leadership,” and the current rigid affirmative action program, there never will be any threat.

A new genetic regulation tool: CRISPRoff.

…in a paper published online in Cell on April 9, researchers describe a new gene editing technology called CRISPRoff that allows researchers to control gene expression with high specificity while leaving the sequence of the DNA unchanged. Designed by Whitehead Institute Member Jonathan Weissman, University of California San Francisco assistant professor Luke Gilbert, Weissman lab postdoc James Nuñez and collaborators, the method is stable enough to be inherited through hundreds of cell divisions, and is also fully reversible.

"The big story here is we now have a simple tool that can silence the vast majority of genes," says Weissman, who is also a professor of biology at MIT and an investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. "We can do this for multiple genes at the same time without any DNA damage, with great deal of homogeneity, and in a way that can be reversed. It's a great tool for controlling gene expression."

I know you aren’t a marketer but this isn’t how you sell something as a value-addition. Talk about all the new stuff that the paywall can ADD to countercurrents, do not present it as a reduction of value to the site. “Pay me or I take away what you used to get for free” has some bad implications as a message. If you’re just doing it for now to raise the pain threshold, that’s acceptable (if mean) but switch the language to be more positive after the wall is up. I think you can get away with the paywall because of how valuable the site is, so I don’t expect a Soph situation (if people even remember her anymore).

Yeah, I thought it would have been better to market it as a membership and stressed what subscribers would receive, rather than as something exclusionary. There’s a nice way to say things sometimes.

Get this from Johnson about his paywall:

I think of a paywall subscription as analogous to paying extra for priority mail. We are routinely willing to pay out more money to get things delivered two or three days faster. In this case, it is 30 days faster.

Thus, Johnson is essentially admitting that, to him, Counter-Currents is simply a service given to supporters in exchange for financial support, and if you want better service (i.e., access to material earlier), you have to give more support (i.e., pay the money to get through the paywall). So, forget about idealistic work for the benefit of race and civilization, and just shell out those shekels!

The point is not only that this Chilean is in no way Italian, but, also, note how different the results are. We see the same person, the same DNA, but analyzed with two different companies, with different methods (including, likely, different SNP sets used), different parental population samples, and different categories of populations and different labels for the ancestral components analyzed. So we get from one test: “Romani, Iberian, South Asian, East Asian, Middle Eastern, and Jewish” and from another (23andMe) “59.5% Native Chilean and 31.2% European” (note that 23andMe considers Ashkenazi Jewish to be “European").  

When “movement” nitwits breathlessly talk about test results in an absolute manner (*), they demonstrate a lack of understanding of what is going on here. If these tests were giving an accurate, precise, and objective measure of ancestry, the above results would not occur.

*Was I such a nitwit 15-20 years ago?  Perhaps. But much of that was “trolling” of people like Kemp, who liked to talk about admixture in others, but who were somewhat hesitant to look closer to home. Further, there was some excitement over, finally, getting personalized autosomal DNA ancestry testing services. But now, in 2021, with years of experience with testing, we can be a bit more objective and skeptical over what is being offered by these for-profit companies (never mind reports of testers fiddling with results to “own” racists).
