Molding the Youth
Challenge not pander.
A common trope of the SJWs is that the “youth” are on their side and will replace all those old, dying, racist White folks, ushering in the Grand Millennium of Equity.
I work in higher education, and I see that our young people are aware and prepared for the shift. I am trusting in the next generation to challenge the systems we have and truly work toward equality. It’s going to take time because it took time to get here. However, honestly, the tanning of America will cause us to take a good look at our country and start to heal. Young people are not going to allow it to move too slowly, they are going to demand change, encourage diversity and strive for commonality.
There’s some truth to that perspective as the youth – and I’m focusing on White youth here – are shifted toward the Left of the political spectrum (putting aside “movement” lies about “red-pilled” Millennials and “Generation Zyklon”). True, White folks have historically tended to shift Right with age and family formation, but given the current extensive anti-White propaganda, social pricing, and depressed family formation occurring with these younger generations, we cannot assume that past performance (of past generations) will guarantee future results (for the current and future youth).
We do have a problem. We do need reach out to White youth, attract them to pro-White activism, and deprogram them from System propaganda. However, the way to do this effectively is to challenge them, not pander to them.
The problem is that Quota Queen grifters, predominantly (or solely) concerned about making money through “fundraising” (“D’Nations!”), view their “movement” enterprise as a business and the individuals attracted to that enterprise as customers, rather than as active or potential activists.
Thus, the grifters pander to the youth and cater to the juvenile tastes of “youth culture” – one of the reasons we got stuck with the Alt-Right fiasco – and allow their corner of the “movement” to be dumbed down to satisfy the customer. That is of course a horribly irresponsible abrogation of responsibility, because the proper role for an older “movement” “leader” toward younger activists and potential activists is as a mentor and role model, to help mold the youth into a mature, disciplined, and productive activist. [Note: It goes without saying that there should not be any sexual predation involved, which in the Alt-Right predominantly revolves/revolved around homosexual predation].
Now, yes, areas of activism targeted to the youth do need to be attractive to the youth, needs to appeal to the, and needs to be relevant to them and their experiences. But catering to the lowest common denominator – e.g., the Alt-Right as “Beavis-and-Butthead White nationalism” – is not the way to do it. There is a difference between being relevant and pandering, between appealing and catering to the worst instincts of your target audience.
Of course, the youth need to be receptive, and not lash out with their self-destructive and conformist generational warfare tropes – e.g., about “boomers” and so forth. The youth need to be willing to be challenged and to grow, even if the process is uncomfortable.
That’s what being an adult is all about. Children expect to get their way all the time. Mature and responsible men and women understand the nature of discipline and sacrifice, and understand that some discomfort is often the price of personal growth.
