Abstract

Southern Italy was characterised by a complex prehistory that started with different Palaeolithic cultures, later followed by the Neolithic transition and the demic dispersal from the Pontic-Caspian Steppe during the Bronze Age. Archaeological and historical evidence points to demic and cultural influences between Southern Italians and the Balkans, starting with the initial Palaeolithic occupation until historical and modern times. To shed light on the dynamics of these contacts, we analysed a genome-wide SNP dataset of more than 700 individuals from the South Mediterranean area (102 from Southern Italy), combined with ancient DNA from neighbouring areas. Our findings revealed high affinities of South-Eastern Italians with modern Eastern Peloponnesians, and a closer affinity of ancient Greek genomes with those from specific regions of South Italy than modern Greek genomes. The higher similarity could be associated with the presence of a Bronze Age component ultimately originating from the Caucasus and characterised by high frequencies of Iranian and Anatolian Neolithic ancestries. Furthermore, to reveal possible signals of natural selection, we looked for extremely differentiated allele frequencies among Northern and Southern Italy, uncovering putatively adapted SNPs in genes involved in alcohol metabolism, nevi features and immunological traits, such as ALDH2, NID1 and CBLB.

Southern Italy was one of the first European regions to be inhabited by our species. 

Yes, Der Movement, Southern Italy is actually part of Europe.

Later on, during the 2nd millennium BCE a flourishing and continuous cultural relationship was established between Southern Italy and Aegean communities especially from the Recent Bronze Age (3.3 to 3.2 kya) onward (23,24). Although the demographic extent of these contacts is not clear, some valuable insights on mobility could be inferred from ceramic crafts. The most recent analytical evidence, relating to the Aegean-type pottery from the core sites of Punta di Zambrone (Tyrrhenian Calabria) and Roca Vecchia (Southern Adriatic Apulia), allow to highlight a strong connection with the Western Greek regions (Ionian Islands, Acarnania, Achaea and Elis) and, to a lesser extent, with Western Crete (25).

Precisely, following the Bronze Age, in a period between the so-called Greek “Dark Ages” (26) and the Archaic Greece (2.7 to 2.5 kya), Southern Italy became a hotspot for the foundation of Greek colonies. The first colonies were set in Campania and Sicily, possibly by settlers arriving from Eastern Greece (Euboea island) around 780 BCE, soon followed by colonies in Calabria, Basilicata and Apulia (27–30), encompassing an area later to be known as Magna Grecia. In the second half of the 7th century BCE, some of these settlements, specifically in South-Eastern Sicily (Siracusa and Megara Iblea) and Apulia (Taranto), were attributed to Eastern Peloponnesian founders (31,32).

As we shall see, actual genetic evidence, as opposed to Quentin Tarantino movies, demonstrates that Southern Italians, including Sicilians, are closest to modern Peloponnesians and, more importantly, to Ancient Greeks, not to Negroes or Arabs.

As a consequence of this complex demographic scenario, Italy harbours the largest degree of genetic population structure identified in Europe so far (19,36), making its population a valuable asset for adaptation studies (36–38).

f4 analysis showed a higher allele sharing of modern Caucasus individuals with present-day Central Europeans than with South-Eastern Europeans, possibly as the result of Bronze Age migrations (Table S2).

The first two PCs in the PCA highlight genetic similarities between Southern Italians and the majority of the analysed Greek populations, with the only exception of the Peloponnesian groups (for sample location see Fig. S2) previously identified as outliers (39), which form a tight cluster also when the third PC is evaluated (Fig. S3).

In order to further dissect the degree of affinity between populations across the Adriatic Sea, we applied a clustering approach on the first ten PCs of a PCA performed on a subset composed by 682 individuals (Fig. 1B, Fig. S4). We detected 12 clusters summarising the genetic similarity among these populations (Fig. S4). Present-day Apulians and Calabrians are characterised by similar profiles, with three clusters (cl. 1, 4, 6) grouping most of their individuals. Western Sicilians mainly fall in cl. 4, which is virtually absent in Eastern Sicily, but it is modal in the Western Peloponnese. Cl. 6 is the second most represented cluster in Apulia, Calabria and Sicily and is found also in Western Peloponnese. Notably, cl. 1 is found at moderate frequencies (from ∼ 16% to ∼ 23%) in the whole Southern Italy, is rare in the Western part of Peloponnese (absent in all Western Peloponnese with the exception of Messenia), but it is present at high proportions on its Eastern part (i.e. Laconia ∼ 36%), Greece-Macedonia (∼ 33%) and Kosovo (∼ 42%).

Interestingly, a substantial proportion of Sicilians (between ∼ 16 to ∼ 30%), are part of a cluster which includes Northern and Central Italian areas (cl. 9), and is absent in Greece and Peloponnese. 

Clustering of "a substantial portion of Sicilians" with “Northern and Central Italian areas?” How is that possible, Der Movement?  I thought “Northern and Central Italian areas” were Celto-Germanic Nordic and Sicilians were non-White African Moors? Is it possible that the historically documented (e.g., see this) partial repopulation of Sicily with continental Europeans, particularly Northern Italians, is more true than, say, the movie True Romance?

By the way, these data don’t in any way refute the Greek connection. Essentially, a majority of Sicilians are most akin to (Ancient) Greeks, while a significant minority are more akin to “Northern and Central Italian areas” – although no doubt most Sicilians in reality derive ancestry from both of those clusters, but are as individuals more similar to one or the other.  

Modern Southern Italians are closer to Southern European Neolithic and Bronze Age samples (Neolithic Peloponnesians and Minoans) than most modern Peloponnesian groups, with the exception of the Deep Mani and Taygetos individuals (Fig. S5B). 

That is consistent with a stable European population structure for thousands of years. Modern European populations to a large extent reflect their Neolithic and Bronze Age origins.

However, when the affinity of Italian groups with African and Middle Eastern populations was tested, Southern Italians resulted not significantly closer to any of the two (Table S4).

In this study, we highlighted a high similarity between Southern Italy and the Peloponnese. In fact, our cluster analysis showed that present-day South-Eastern Peloponnesian populations have high genetic affinity with modern Apulians, Calabrians and South-Eastern Sicilians, all characterised by a cluster composition different from those displayed by other Greek groups (Fig. 1B, Fig. S3). Additionally, individuals from Western Sicily show similarities with populations inhabiting the Western part of Peloponnese (Fig. 1B, Fig. S4). Although establishing the chronological context for this affinity using present-day genomes might be challenging, our results are in accordance with archaeological and historical sources that attributed the origin of Greek colonies in South-Eastern Sicily and Apulia from populations inhabiting the southern and Eastern parts of the Peloponnese (31,32). Uniparental Y-chromosome findings are also in agreement with these observations revealing Eastern Peloponnesian ancestries in East Sicily (34) and shared haplogroups among modern-day Greeks and populations living in Southern Italian areas colonised by Greeks such as the Salento (Apulia) and the Ionian coast of Calabria (56). The lower affinity with other Balkan populations could be attributed to a lower influence by inland populations, such as Slavic-related people (57) and/or genetic drift in Tsakones and Maniots as suggested by historical sources (39). Therefore, our results imply a high affinity between Southern Italians and Peloponnesians possibly abrupted very recently by major events of migrations and/or admixture as the one recorded during the Middle Age period (58). However the observation that, in some analyses, Southern Italians and ancient Greeks share more alleles than modern and ancient Peloponnesians, may suggest a scenario including the preservation of an ancient population signal in the genome of Southern Italians that was likely diluted by inland migrations in Greece (Fig. 3).

In other words, Southern Italians are more similar to Ancient Greeks than are modern Greeks, who have been influenced to some degree by Slavic and other migrations (this Greek information does not invalidate the idea of stable European population structure over the last 3,000 years; some degree of movement and change within Europe is expected and is part of the overall stable structure, but there was no widespread and large scale permanent population replacement, particularly from outside Europe).

The differences identified in modern-day Southern and Northern Italians have significant phenotypic implications and call for more extensive investigations on a larger number of markers and individuals.

Northern and Southern Italians are not “different races” but can be reasonably seen as different ethnic groups, which are similar enough to form a national entity (the same as with North and South Germans). As has been shown previously, North and South Italian differences are of ancient origins, with the South being more akin to Ancient Greece; the differences are NOT due to the South being akin to MENA populations.

Once again, Der Movement’s fetishistic dogma is refuted.

Abstract

Haplotype-based analyses have recently been leveraged to interrogate the fine-scale structure in specific geographic regions, notably in Europe, although an equivalent haplotype-based understanding across the whole of Europe with these tools is lacking. Furthermore, study of identity-by-descent (IBD) sharing in a large sample of haplotypes across Europe would allow a direct comparison between different demographic histories of different regions. The UK Biobank (UKBB) is a population-scale dataset of genotype and phenotype data collected from the United Kingdom, with established sampling of worldwide ancestries. The exact content of these non-UK ancestries is largely uncharacterized, where study could highlight valuable intracontinental ancestry references with deep phenotyping within the UKBB. In this context, we sought to investigate the sample of European ancestry captured in the UKBB. We studied the haplotypes of 5,500 UKBB individuals with a European birthplace; investigated the population structure and demographic history in Europe, showing in parallel the variety of footprints of demographic history in different genetic regions around Europe; and expand knowledge of the genetic landscape of the east and southeast of Europe. Providing an updated map of European genetics, we leverage IBD-segment sharing to explore the extent of population isolation and size across the continent. In addition to building and expanding upon previous knowledge in Europe, our results show the UKBB as a source of diverse ancestries beyond Britain. These worldwide ancestries sampled in the UKBB may complement and inform researchers interested in specific communities or regions not limited to Britain.

Some regions appear more heterogenous such as Germany or Malta (SI Appendix, Supplementary Data 2 and Figs. 2.3 and 2.5), suggestive that a substantial fraction of individuals in the dataset have a recent genetic ancestry that does not match most individuals with the same place of birth label, possibly due to modern economic or other recent migration within the continent.

Interestingly, there appears to be a common cluster of individuals projected onto the same PC space who collectively do not match the ancestry of individuals with their reported place of birth. A substantial number of individuals of Hungarian, Czech, or Russian birthplaces appear to be members of this cluster. Indeed, these individuals separate together on PC six (SI Appendix, Fig. 2.9). This suggests a community of individuals with shared common ancestry that is not private to one European country but is more common in samples from Eastern Europe. 

So, there may be a common “Eastern Europe genotype” that is found in certain Eastern European nations in addition to the more specific national genotypes. This level of kinship overlap emphasizes why intra-European conflict is maladaptive and why petty nationalism is stupid.

We observed a split in Britain and Ireland between the eastern populations of the British Isles (e.g., England and Wales) and the northwestern (e.g., Ireland and Scotland). We report genetic results from the Channel Islands, an archipelago off the northern French coast. Additionally, one cluster of predominant French membership (“France”) groups with English clusters, possibly reflecting gene flow across the channel or a signature of genetic affinity of northwestern France with neighboring Britain (23, 33). 

Heterogeneity and kinship overlap exists in Northwest Europe as well.

Finland shows evidence of isolation from other European regions, projecting away in PC space and showing high differentiation in FST and total variance distance (TVD) values (Datasets S2 and S3). 

That is not surprising based on previous studies.

We report to our knowledge the largest sample of dense genome-wide genotypes from the small Mediterranean archipelago of Malta (n = 200). In PCA, these are distributed along a gradient along PC seven, forming three clusters. The first contains Maltese individuals who projected separately from the rest with British samples. The other two project away from these Maltese samples, with one equidistant between the British–Maltese individuals and another of sole Maltese membership in PC space (SI Appendix, Supplementary Data 6). Our Leiden clustering groups these latter 2 groups of samples into 1 cluster of 79 individuals and the former into clusters of predominant British membership. These results suggest recent western European gene flow into Malta, with the intermediate PCA cluster of Maltese individuals consistent with first-generation offspring of ancestral Maltese and western European parents. 

The British were in Malta. If I recall, Norman Lowell has some British ancestry; apparently, other Maltese do as well.

Elsewhere in S European genetics, we have studied a genetic community of individuals that we denote as Mixed European. Although we discuss in more detail in SI Appendix, Supplementary Data S7, to summarize, we show using f-statistics (37) that these individuals share ancestry with Ashkenazi Jewish references from the Human Origins dataset as well as projecting onto the same PC space (SI Appendix, Fig. 4.2). The demographic profile from haplotype sharing and estimated historical Ne of individuals within this cluster matches well with a proposed demographic model from a previous study of European Ashkenazi Jews (55) with a bottleneck 25 to 35 generations ago with a subsequent period of population expansion. This model included admixture between southern European and Middle Eastern sources and latter Eastern European sources (55), which match our nnls sharing patterns of IBD (SI Appendix, Fig. 4.3).

The Ashkenazim are a three-way mixture of Middle Eastern, Southern European, and Eastern European, and can be distinguished from European ethnies, as we know from previous studies (where the "proposed demographic model" originates).

Besides focusing on memes to attract recruits, Far Right activists need to focus on finding solutions to the social pricing problem. That is one key to unlocking reservoirs of potential support - people who are sympathetic but fear social pricing effects. Some think that garnering a sufficient mass of followers would deal with social pricing - if there are so many people on the side of the cause, they can support each other and dilute the effects of the pricing, But if social pricing prevents that critical mass to be reached in the first place and/or prevents acquiring necessary high-value people, then we have a chicken-egg scenario. I believe the Far Right needs to address the problem in ways that do not require already having a large mass of supporters. It would be helpful if some of the money going to the cause was used to generate self-sustaining economies that could cushion pricing effects, instead of having the money essentially flushed down the Quota Queen toilet.

This map correlates very nicely with the green shades in the Map of Westward Expansion of Islam that I had alluded to in my comment #58, above. European regions that had come under Islamic influence for a longer period (for instance Andalusia and Sicily) are shaded black, not surprisingly, due to higher African admixture in the general population there.

Nowadays one can easily notice the difference between people living in southern France, where the Umayyad Caliphate (Saracenes), coming from Africa through Iberia, controlled that territory more than a thousand years ago, and those people living north of the Loire River, where Viking and Germanic influences are more pronounced. Similar contrasts apply to the difference between southern Italians, where in Sicily and Calabria Islamic influence prevailed for centuries, and northern Italians in the Po Valley. The differences are not just in physical appearance but manifest themselves in behavioral habits. Many people living in areas previously under Islamic conquest or rule have admixtures of Arabian Mulatto traits, which affect populations in those regions to this day. This is evident in industriousness and innovation, measured in per capita production. Typical “movement” solipsist nonsense – something is “true” just because they write it.  Interesting that no one wants to talk about Asian/Siberian admixture in Northern Europe; you’d think the phenotypes of David Bromstad and Bjork would be of relevance with respect to discussion of Vikings.

Re: this.  Leftists who try to justify current mass migration by pointing out how such things happened in the past are exposed by the findings of the paper discussed. While migration did happen in the past, ultimately, in Europe, it most mostly transient and the final outcome was stability of European population structure. Today’s migration is not transient but of the form of mass colonization of a permanent nature – and, unlike in the past, is associated with higher alien fertility and below-replacement native fertility. In addition, the sources of the migrant populations are today more global and diverse and, in toto, more genetically alien than in the past. So it is not the same thing at all; today’s situation is completely different.

And leftists are hypocrites – on the one hand they try to justify current mass migration by (falsely) pointing to the past, but with respect to other things, they insist we need to change completely and state that “the moral arc of the universe bends to justice.”  Thus, you see, we need to move toward completely different moral paradigms compared to the past. Very well. How about it bending “to justice” for native populations who have the moral right not to be replaced?

Neil's campaign has helped illuminate two things:

1. Der Movement is much more comfortable with, and supportive of, the likes of Kumar than of any White ethnic. I believe that Kumar's maternal Scots-Irish Southron ancestry makes him far more appealing to the Quota Queens than, say, a full-blooded wop would be.

2. The GOP Establishment currently will not support an explicitly pro-White candidate, even one who is non-White.

Of course, I already knew these two things. But others need to have it hammered to them, time and again.

The Nordicism of Counter-Currents commentators is such that the stridently anti-Italian passages in The Dispossessed Majority is not enough for them - they have to invent passages that aren't in that book.

While I did not find any reference to "Sicilians are Black" in The Dispossessed Majority, that trope is found in movies made by individuals of full or part Italian descent, such as David Chase and Quentin Tarantino. And of course, comments such as "Africa begins at Rome (or Naples)" are made by Northern Italians for the amusement of Northern Europeans. This defect in the Italian character, this need to curry favor with northerners by denigrating other Italians, must be faced and cannot be responsibly evaded. And it doesn't work. Mussolini still gets called a "Negroid asshole" by Germans and Italy from Rome southwards is still "Africa" regardless of how mainland Southern Italians point the finger at Sicilians (and who do the Sicilians attack - Sardinians?). Other ethnies may have their internal squabbles, but they do not air them to outsiders like retarded buffoons

White ethnics in Der Movement should be aware that racial attacks against them by their "comrades" can occur at any time, in many cases completely unexpected, like a bolt out of the blue. One minute all is well, the next, your "whiteness" is questioned, your ethny defamed and mocked, bizarre racial "histories" invented, and quotes fabricated. There are leftist Whites of many ethnicities, what is the relevance of one of them being of Hungarian ancestry? And anti-White politics affect all Whites, not just founding stock.

A friend of this blog on Gab alerts me to the these search results. The obsession with Sicilians by the Instauration crew was an early-day example of ethnic fetishism.

Why do corporations take the chance of "go woke, go broke?" First, some of the corporate leaders are ideologues who put politics ahead of profits. Second, and more importantly, they (for the most part accurately) calculate that the Right is inept at organizing boycotts and publicizing a cause, particularly when the media help to suppress (or mock) it. Third, they correctly calculate that Whites are lazy and indifferent, re: their own interests, and won't sacrifice convenience for a cause. On the other hand, the Left and the Coloreds are motivated enough to organize to affect corporate profits. Fourth, if most or all companies go woke, consumers will have little choice but to patronize one of them - solidarity in wokeness. Go woke, go broke doesn't actually happen that often, or often enough to dissuade them.

In the 1970s, Der Movement had two viable paths - the Tommasi path of violent action (much more viable at that time than later) or the Sallis path of slow and steady infiltration of the System. Instead, it did neither, and just engaged in Hitler fetishism, Nordicism, Turner Diaries fantasizing, and saying that long term action is useless because "the collapse is five years away." When The Order decided to do Tommasi-like action nearly a decade after his death, the window of opportunity for that sort of thing had passed. The USA was in the era of Reaganite stability and optimism, the chaos of the 60s and 70s was replaced by Ronnie Raygun and "fight the commies." And so decades were wasted.

You hear it all the time because it is distressingly true. “Taking issue” = rhetorical minimalization strategy. After all, doesn’t everybody have “issues” with gays?"

So, if you don't want lisping homosexuals as "leaders" of your "movement" then you yourself are of course homosexual. Got a problem with someone trying to get fellated by a dachshund? Then you're having a torrid sexual affair with the family cat. QED.

Thus, every time a Counter-Currents commentator is observed "taking issue" with miscegenation that is a "rhetorical minimalization strategy" to hide their own race-mixing desires. How about this instead - normal people are repulsed by both homosexuality and miscegenation and want neither in a so-called "movement" promoting White interests? See this. Relevant excerpt:

Supporting my thesis that Der Movement is hostile to Southern and Eastern Europeans, let's consider prominent White ethnics in Der Movement. I will include in this survey people of part-NWE ancestry, like Scutari and Conte, but will exclude the part-Mexican Fuentes, people in the Alt Lite (Fuentes again) - that is NOT Der Movement, I will also exclude Enoch given the controversy of whether he is Jewish. I am only considering people who have contributed significantly in leadership, intellectual and ideology, significant action, etc. - I'm not interested in random skinheads or some commentator on blog threads. I will include Burdi, as Wikipedia claims he is Italian-Ukrainian (not Armenian as others have claimed). I'm focusing on America here.

In the 60s-80s we had Patler who was convicted of killing Rockwell and spent time in prison- Patler had been racially critiqued by the Pierce brigade. Tommasi was murdered. Frank Borzellieri suffered from social pricing persecution, but, unlike Sam Francis or John Derbyshire, never received the sort of support (surprise!) that would have enabled him to effectively deal with the fall-out from the persecution. Insofar as I know, Borzellieri is not currently active in the "movement." Conte apparently is involved with the National Justice Party (after his falling out with Spencer). So - what? So we have Sallis who despises Der Movement and wants it destroyed and whatever Conte is doing. Did I miss anyone?

I was just thinking of him when reading this piece. “Big Pussy Bonpensiero”, or something like that. Dude does NOT look white as I do, Trump does, etc. Italy has long been thought of as a biracial nation. And all through this, Italian readers of Counter-Currents are not attacking any other group and are in fact constantly "blindsided" by this unrelenting ethnic aggression.

Any White ethnics, particularly Italians, who support Counter-Currents, or any other "movement" outlet, are, in my opinion, mentally ill.

The whole Counter-Currents anti-Italian hostility issue perfectly supports my contentions about Der Movement's ethnic affirmative action program. If there is a large faction of Der Movement that questions the "whiteness" of Italians, then it stands to reason that an Italian-American would not be viable as a "movement" leader, regardless of how qualified they are. Merit means nothing. On the other hand, the NW Euro Quota Queens, particularly "WASP" types, are elevated to leadership with no significant qualifications and maintain their status despite lurching from one catastrophe to another. Again, merit means nothing. Therefore, I am correct.

There is so much wrong with that Fraser quote that one doesn't know where to start. WASP dispossession was in large part mediated by WASPs themselves. What does the American experience tell us about "who's White"?

Since the Italians, Poles, Slavs, and Phoenicians were accepted into the American mainstream, we have lost nearly the entirety of the pre-World War II government. The Fed no longer takes a “hands-off” approach to anything, we have tons of regulation, to the extent that, as discussed in Where’s my Flying Car, innovation is significantly stifled. It may be blasphemy for the Nordicist "movement," but there may be some lessons to be learned from the Italian-American mafia with respect to the "movement."

Some points:

1. Male only.

2. Whatever the criteria for membership, make it clear, and then stick with it. If you have to have Italian ancestry, then fine - but then don't turn around and say, "hey, Guido, your family is from Calabria and we have suddenly decided that Calabrians are not acceptable Italians for Cosa Nostra." 

Thus, choose an ingroup from the start, and stick with it. That is unlike Der Movement, in which fetishists are always questioning the "Whiteness" of certain Europeans, including people who are long-term pro-White activists. 

Set the membership criteria from the beginning and then respect that - do not retroactively redefine membership after the fact.

3. "Made men" are "straightened out" only after proving themselves over time (real vetting) and once they are "made" they are protected within the group (unless they themselves violate the rules) and are treated with respect. 

4. Following up on point three, there are rules to follow in the group, which are part of the "tradition" and are crucial for group survival.

5. Omerta is the opposite of being "in bed with the press."  At its peak, the mafia took the issue of informants and infiltrators seriously - no need to get into that now here, but the reader is aware of the history there, and how the mafia has declined as this issue, and the "rules," have been compromised (in part due to negative trends as discussed below).

Of course, the decline in the modern mafia reflects problems and issues that should be avoided. There are negative lessons as well as positive. Note well that the mafia declined paralleling increasing Italian-American assimilation, so that competent people began going to work for the System rather than the mafia (imagine Scalia as a mafia boss).  That underscores the need for quality people. RICO laws need to be considered, and underscores the need for influence over the System to protect your organization, to deflect the power of the State. But with all of that, at this point, any significant improvement over the current failed "movement" would be helpful.

It possessed an unusual enhancement, a furin cleavage site, which is not possessed by any other known SARS-related beta-coronavirus, and this site included a double arginine codon also unknown among beta-coronaviruses. What more evidence could you want, aside from the presently unobtainable lab records documenting SARS2’s creation?

Students from cultures outside the West may need coaching on the Western sense of authorship and attribution, since non-Western sensibilities may be more communal. The idea of “doing one’s own work” may be clear to an American student attending a college in Denver, Colorado but not so clear to a Chinese student who is attending the same school. What might be considered respecting the professor through mimicry in China could be marked as plagiarism or as a lack of original thinking in Denver. Many years ago, I was reading an Asian student’s paper and thought it was interesting and well-written. Then I realized I was reading one of my own books! Perhaps the student thought he was honoring me, but I required a rewrite. Suffice it to say, for academic integrity to be taught and followed, we need a lucid account of it, and what it means, in our academically normative setting.

The high prevalence of diabetes in India is contributing to the crisis.  That prevalence is in part genetically determined.

India is facing an epidemic of type 2 diabetes, with high prevalence in urban areas. Urbanisation and associated life style changes adversely affect the risk factors for diabetes unmasking the high genetic tendency existing in the population. Various epidemiological studies in Indians have shown that the increasing prevalence of diabetes could be attributed to a high genetic risk and lower risk thresholds for acquired risk factors such as age, obesity, abdominal adiposity and a high percentage of body fat. Diabetes occurs at a younger age in Indians compared to Whites. The risk of diabetes increases with a body mass index (BMI) of >23 kg/m(2) and waist circumference of 85 cm for men and 80 cm for women in Asian Indians. For a given BMI, Asian Indians have higher central adiposity. There is also evidence of higher insulin resistance amongst Indians, and this is partly explained by higher body fat percentage. A large proportion of urban adults has the metabolic syndrome also which predisposes them to both diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Recognition of these conditions and institution of early preventive measures are urgently needed.

No matter what happens, I will be profoundly grateful to Donald Trump for the rest of my life.

Well, that’s the degree to which the gratitude and loyalty of your “leadership” lasts. Not a very long shelf-life, is it? Their sentiments of life-long gratitude have the half-life of an extremely unstable radioactive isotope.

Teller was one funny Jew.

The most disturbing part of the study is a proposal by Edward Teller, the Strangelovian inventor of the hydrogen bomb, to produce a 10 gigaton (10,000 megaton) warhead that would detonate with an explosive power 166,666 times the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

With clinical detachment, Teller illustrated the power of his doomsday weapon: “A 10,000 megaton weapon, by my estimation, would be powerful enough to set all of New England on fire. Or most of California. Or all of the UK and Ireland. Or all of France. Or all of Germany. Or both North and South Korea. And so on.” We are talking just one bomb.

I support the development of such a weapon.  Add a cobalt casing to it, and you’ll be all set!

Let’s consider West Eurasian PCA again, with an eye on the position of Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews. I have repeatedly explained the Ashkenazi position vis-à-vis Europeans, particularly Southern Europeans. This has been necessary because of the sweaty fantasies of the fetishists regarding this issue. 

If the Ashkenazi were a relatively even mix of Middle Eastern and Southern European, then they’d be located halfway in between those groups, and some of them in fact are. However, most Ashkenazim have some fractional Eastern European (and, possibly Germanic) ancestry, and this pulls them in the direction of Northeast European groups like Poles and Russians; this draws the Ashkenazim very close to the Southern European groups. This closeness in PCA does not mean that Jews and Southern Europeans groups are equivalent (they in fact can be easily distinguished by genetic analyses, even by the flawed personal ancestry tests currently extant).

Thinking of some extremely dumbed down manner of explaining this concept to typical Type I "movement" retards, I decided to use a geographical analogy. Consider the map of the USA.

Let’s say the state of Delaware represents Middle Easterners, the state of Kansas represents Southern Europeans, and the state of California represents those Eastern European groups (e.g., Poles and Russians, etc.) that contributed to Ashkenazi genetics. Now, if we consider a 50:50 mix of Delaware and Kansas, then the geographic center of that mix would be halfway in between – let’s say the state of Kentucky.  However, now consider a 40:40:20 or 45:40:15 mix of Delaware, Kansas, and California. This would shift the geographic center of the mix more in the direction of California, moving it very close to Kansas – let’s say western Missouri. However, even though the geographic center of the mix is now very close to Kansas, that mix is not equivalent to Kansas; Kansas is Kansas, while the mix is a mix of different components, one of which is Kansas. A mixture of different components, one of which is "X," is obviously not the same as "X" alone.

The obvious anti-White ethnic hatred of the pro-Jewish and pro-Asian HBD race realists of Amren is on display once again.

Also, are we to believe there’s something wrong with Armenians or Sicilians getting away with being considered non-white? I would say they are white, but it’s less clear cut than for Northern Europeans. For all we know, Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande never considered themselves white. So what’s the problem? Would it be better if Ariana Grande were North African?

West Eurasian PCA clearly shows Sicilians at the most “southern” end of the European cluster, along with mainland Southern Italians, Greeks, Maltese, etc., while Armenians are clearly far away along with Asian NEC groups (not far from Turks and Iranians, for example).  Arabs are also distant, in another direction.

How about considering the phenotypes of David Bromstad and Bjork?  I would say that they are white, but it’s less clear cut than for Southern Europeans. Much less clear cut.

This “Gregory Hood” (Kevin DeAnna) is going to be the focus of more analysis here going forward, that is sure.

Amren has a long, long history of open hatred toward Italians and other White ethnics, the “Hippocrates” fiasco being just one example. The pro-Jewishness and pro-Asianness of that site has been long noted by many people. That this is coupled to a hatred of White ethnics has been a focus of my own observations.

Once again, Der Movement has nothing (positive) to offer White ethnics.

I grew in NYC around a lot of Southern Italians and Sicilians and some of them don’t consider themselves white. They are racist against blacks the same way Mexicans and Arabs are.

Sure, sure. No doubt all of those New York wops go around telling everyone they are non-White. And as regards 23andMe tests, they have been deconstructed here in great detail.

That there is some Greek ancestry in Southern Italy is old news...haven't people known this for 2500 years?  Some low level traces of North African ancestry may be present, this is no surprise, and if you think your favorite ethnies are pure, think again.  As regards the absurdly higher levels of "admixture" some European groups get in 23andMe tests, this is due to a lack of proper parental population samples for those groups, as explained here many times. Put enough Sicilians in the database and that "admixture" will decrease significantly. Conversely, remove more Herrenvolk from the database, and watch their levels of Asian "admixture" rise. But, hey, let's instead depend on a website that lists a wop as an "Arab" because of a 23andMe test (the results for which will change, and have changed, every time they update their test). And what happens when that same celebrity takes an ancestry test with another company, that has different sets of reference samples, and sees that "exotic" ancestry decrease or disappear completely?  

All of these "movement" websites, all of these people, are openly hostile to White ethnics. White ethnics have nothing to get from ANY of these people.

Wilmot Robertson has been a perennial favorite in these pages, and it’s time to provide a list of relevant links and articles published over the years.

The corpus of commentary on The Dispossessed Majority is voluminous, but for my money, the best writing is Robertson’s own “pendant,” Ventilations. This is a little book of short, biting essays that Robertson wrote in the 1970s, right after he published TDM. There is an excruciating account of his many attempts to advertise and distribute the book, meeting little but rejection and shrieks of horror, even from such “conservative” journals of opinion as Human Events and National Review. Bookstores wouldn’t even accept TDM on consignment.

Interestingly, TDM was proudly displayed in the private departmental library of a White-hating academic Jew I once knew. Now, figure out why that would be so.

And that’s okay, because your people have their own songs of both sound and flesh, their own dreams of place and yearning which are themselves inaccessible to me and that makes them special. 

OK, then if that is true, what gives you the right to talk about the “songs” and “dreams” of Italians, which are inaccessible to you?  Perhaps you should concentrate on your own Turkic homelands.

Now, don’t take this the wrong way. I am not advocating for insularity of tribes, here. Obviously, I am on this site, working with nationalists from all over the world because we’ve been designated as “the enemy” by the external force of globohomo.
