That is a reasonable comment. It is interesting who it is who makes thoughtful and reasonable comments and who acts like jackasses.

The idea that a fundamental problem of Der Movement is that it embraces "Salterism" has to rank high among the most stupid comments in human history, and it is triply wrong.  Thus:

First, large fractions of Der Movement have completely ignored Salter's work. After all, talking about The Age of Aluminum, The Men Who Can't Tell Time, and Nordic aliens piloting flying saucers out of Ultima Thule, is all much more important.

Second, among those who do recognize Salter's work, some attack it (because of HBD, phenotypism, anti-scientism, etc.) and some make a mockery of the work by gibbering about "EGI" to explain everything from bad weather to the price of milk.

Third, to the extent that Salter's work is accepted and understood, this is a net positive, one of the few positives one can find anywhere in any precinct of Der Movement. Having an objective analysis of ethnic interests related to adaptive fitness seems to be a "win-win" to me.

Some folks seem to think that activism should merely involve sitting around, sipping tea, and praising the British Empire. Alas, even "British" is insufficient for some; I recall some of the England chauvinists at MR complaining about "the Celtic fringes of the UK"- to them, Scots (like Liddell), Ulster-Scots, and the Welsh are simply not up to snuff. Jolly good! Keep a stiff upper lip, mate!  Maybe they should worry more about the fact that you can't take two steps in London without tripping over Pakis and Negroes. 

Those who read my work know I critique all European peoples - wops, micks, limeys, frogs, dagoes, hunkies, squareheads, Balkanoids, krauts...the whole bit. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. When people start worshipping their own ethny, lose all perspective, and think that the only problem of their ethny is that they are "too noble, too honorable, too altruistic, too individualistic, and too intelligent" then there is a problem. Such people lack the objective self-awareness to recognize and solve their problems.

Consider this. When divisive fetishists - who agonize over which Europeans are acceptably "White" and who begrudgingly bestow a second-class "barely White" status on Southern Europeans - start talking about "mutual dependence" and "fighting together" - I'm sorry, I can't take that rhetoric at face value. No one with any sense of self-value, pride, and honor can - or should be willing to - accept any sort of second-class, low caste status. I'm looking for allies, not contemptuous snobs with superiority complexes.

First, Counter-Currents has no standing talking about “optics” – do we need to mention The Pilleater Chronicles, repeated infiltrations, pro-homosexual propaganda, freakish “traditionalism,” endless feuding, etc.

Second, I have a mixed opinion here. We need to distinguish whether an action is inherently “bad," or just bad in a particular context. Are public WN rallies inherently bad?  No.  Is wearing uniforms inherently bad?  No. But is today the correct time to have rallies and to march around in public wearing uniforms? No as well. There is no public support for this type of activity. There are no elected officials or law enforcement to back it up – in contrast, they openly support Antifa, which is essentially part of the US government. Can these rallies be held, be successful, and stand their ground?  No. So, at the current time – today – the cost/benefit ratio doesn’t favor this activity. I have often criticized Unite the Right and other forms of “acting out” during the Trump administration instead of quietly building in depth.

Third, that said, eventually, if we are to be victorious, we will need to pass through a phase where public rallies can and should be done, and done successfully, and if groups want to wear uniforms, that should be acceptable as well. So, we need to work toward the day where uniformed pro-White groups can successfully rally in public – Suvorov’s Law to force compromise; if such rallies can happen, what will be next?  We need to the work, infiltrate, access the leverage to political power, and build infrastructures behind the scenes.

The basic problem I have with the Counter-Currents argument – apart from its childish, vulgar, and non-nuanced nature – is its implicit message that what you all should be doing is to sit down, shut up, and send “D’Nations” to Gaslighting Greg.

The real problem with public rallies is not “optics” but COMPETENCE. No one involved with planning these rallies seems to have serious considered these questions:

1. What happens if local authorities support Antifa and Antifa’s attacks on rightist rallies, while opposing rightist constitutional rights?

2. What happens if the local authorities allow Antifa to attack rightist rallies with impunity while selectively arresting rightists for defending themselves?

3. What happens when leftist lawyers and legal groups file civil suits against rightists (lawfare) for the rightists exercising their constitutional rights and for defending themselves against leftist attacks?

In the lack of effective solutions for the problems raised by these questions, the rallies should not take place. Effective solutions could – eventually – include exercising local political power to at least keep the authorities neutral, and a robust legal infrastructure for offense and defense.

Unfortunately, instead your “leaders” gibber about Savitri Devi and get money to buy castles, and to receive six figure salaries for maintaining an “online publication.”

People made the same flawed assumption with Trump in 2016. Trump came out with this quasi-white nationalist platform and everyone said “Look at all these white people voting for Trump! This means whites are turning identitarian!” And sure, a lot of whites were and still are. But the vast majority of Trump voters continued to cheer him on with equal if not greater intensity as he proceeded to break almost all of his most pro-white campaign promises. In the end, it turned out that most of them just liked the cut of Trump’s jib.

That’s the Greg Johnson lie. Now, look, there may be some lower class, working class, and lower middle class Whites that identify with Trump’s crassness and these are in many cases the types that show up at his rallies – along with some Blacks, by the way. But do you really think that the majority of White Trump supporters really like his behavior?

In 2016, Trump beat out the rest of the Republican field in spite of, not because of, being a vulgar ignorant buffoon. It was during THE PRIMARIES that his right-wing populism hit pay dirt. That attracted a more hardcore GOP voter. Once Trump got to the national election, then you also had other Whites who just voted against Clinton. In 2020, when a mainstreaming Trump LOST (and stop crying about “election fraud here” – if he had won in a convincing fashion, no fraud would have reversed that), there were no primaries to worry about, and many people who were disgusted with him for his betrayals still voted for him because they voted against the Left, against Dementia Joe and the Desi-Negro whore.  It had nothing to do with Trump’s “jib.”’ Stop lying.

If anything, it is too hard to cancel people in the Dissident Right. There are people we have been trying to cancel for years and we can’t. No matter how hard we try to cancel them, they just won’t go away.

Yeah…maybe that’s because the folks who want to do the “cancelling” are worse than those they want to “cancel.” How about “cancelling” the grant hero of the European men’s rest rooms?

Curiously, I am hearing from White American STEMers who not only continue to get invitations from China to attend scientific conferences there in the midst of this crisis, but are receiving unsolicited mail from Chinese academic institutions. Keep in mind that the virus can remain on surfaces for long period of times – some estimates are up to three-to-nine days.  Are the Chinese trying to intentionally infect White scientific researchers?   Anyway, for all those correspondents - keep me informed and I'll report what I learn here.

Question: Is the Amren conference going to go on ahead?  Will they have a choice?  What if the Tennessee government bans all large gatherings?
