Racially and culturally, the forerunner of Russia was the Grand Duchy of Moscow (1263–1547)…by the end of the 15th century, the Grand Duchy of Moscow was populated mostly by Christianized Tatar-Mongols who in the course of the previous two centuries had gradually adopted Orthodox Christianity and taken Slavic names. The indigenous Slavic population had become a minority in a relatively short period of time due to the large influx of these Christianized Asiatic nomads, and due to mixed marriages between Christianized Mongols and indigenous Slavs.

The author loses a lot of credibility when he compares Russian minorities to blacks, Arabs, etc. Culturally and biologically, that’s a crazy thing to say.

He’s not comparing them culturally and biologically. He’s comparing them in terms of their propensity to criminal behavior and rioting, for example:

Are there statistics to back that up? Especially when you compare them to blacks, I’d need to see some data.

He’s comparing them to blacks in terms of their analogous sociological profile. It is not a statistical comparison. I doubt that any group is close to blacks in the amount of petty crime, murder, and chaos they create. Of course Jews are far more destructive on a grand scale, with the wars and revolutions they foment, not to mention the fact that they are principally responsible for the collapse of segregation and white supremacy, and the dismantling of immigration control, opening the floodgates to black crime and chaos.

I can’t help notice that none of that racial and cultural hatred toward Russians was brought up in the Nikitin-Johnson discussion. I suppose that’s all “down the memory hole” (just like “Trump is toast no matter what”), but at EGI Notes nothing goes down the memory hole.

As far as the talk itself, Nikitin made good points and seems like an impressive fellow; my only disagreement was with his attempt to whitewash Nazi hostility to Slavs.  While an element of a “crusade against Bolshevism” was always a component of Operation Barbarossa, it only really came to the fore after Stalingrad, when the Germans needed to change the narrative to one of a pan-European crusade against Bolshevism, to appeal to non-German SS recruits and to win support from other nations; the original hegemonic aspirations against the Slavs were downplayed. And, yes, the Ukrainians originally welcomed the Germans, but they changed their tune after experiencing Koch, no?  And whatever Hitler wrote about Jewish influence in Russia, he was never shy about the need for Germany to conquer living space in the east. Even Irving, who certainly can’t be placed as inherently anti-Hitler, admits what the Nazi war aims really were.  There is a difference between national socialism (the generalized ideology) and National Socialism (the Hitler-German party and regime).  The former is certainly suitable for Slavs; the latter is not.

Durocher’s nervous breakdown continues?

Der Movement will complain that these findings will be used by the Left to justify alien immigration into Scandinavia. Well, yes, but two points.  First, such immigration has been going full-steam for decades before this study came out, so it’s not really that important – just another brick in the wall.  Second, Der Movement has no one to blame but itself – for basing its ideology on the weak and crumbling foundation of “racial purity,” and for endlessly engaging in Nordicist fetishism. The proper attitude is that the genetic makeup of the Vikings in the Dark Ages is completely irrelevant to the interests of Scandinavians today. EGI is forward looking, the past is essentially irrelevant; and, more generally, the interests of any ethny is based on what that ethny is today and what it wants to be in the future.  What happened in its past is beyond its control and  is reflected in that ethny’s characteristics of the present.  Racial purity is irrelevant.  Genetic distinctiveness is relevant. What people did centuries or millennia ago is irrelevant to what needs to be done by people living in those lands today.

Anyway, what the Left is whining about this time - and what they don't want comments about because those comments would expose leftist hypocrisy - is that, according to the Left, the "Proud Boys" and other rightist groups are being allowed to "be violent with impunity" in Portland; the police are standing back and doing nothing.

Now, the chutzpah there is incredible.  For weeks, the Left has been running wild in America with near-impunity, particularly in Portland and Seattle - rioting, vandalism, attempted murder, assault and battery, lasers shined in eyes, anti-White racial harassment, wielding weapons, repeated race-based violations of federal fair housing laws to try and force Whites out of "gentrified" previously-Black neighborhoods, attacks against police, hate crimes against Whites, blocking traffic, and open treasonous insurrection against the US government with their violence-ridden "autonomous zone."  All of that with near impunity.  For the last four years of the administration of Antifa Don Trump, there has been anarcho-tyranny - the radical Left has been allowed to run wild with impunity, and when rightists, including Antifa Don's own deluded supporters, fight back, it are they, and they alone, who are arrested, prosecuted, and persecuted.  But, now, briefly, in Portland, we have a single moment of pure anarchy instead of anarcho-tyranny - BOTH sides are being allowed, more or less, to do what they want.  Very well.  And the outcome is such as that anyone could predict - in a fair and open battle, without anarcho-tyranny intervention, the Right comes out on top.  This proves, once and for all, that Antifa is, and always has been, part of the System, a branch of local, state, and federal government, street fighters for global capitalism, etc. They have achieved everything because they are protected by the System that they are a part of.  But, given a specific situation (Portland police losing their patience because they have been abandoned by the same System they and Antifa both serve) in which official protection is briefly withdrawn from the Left, and we see that they start whining in The Huffington Post how they are being "victimized" and "not protected by the police"- the same police they want to defund (as there is competition between the two branches of the System - why have both doing the same job?).

The lesson here is what people on the Right have been saying all along - the real problem is anarcho-tyranny, not anarchy.  If there was anarchy, then the Right could fill in the niche space left by the absence of state authority and institute their own law and order; however, the current System of anarcho-tyranny is an alliance between the System and the Left - however an alliance that is sometimes unstable when factions of the System see their own interests threatened by the leftist violence they encourage.

An observation - True enough, the USSR was repressive throughout its entire existence, but there is this interesting dichotomy: It was when the USSR was led by non-Slavs (Jews, Georgians, mongrels like Lenin, etc.) that there was the mass murder of millions of Russian and Ukrainian Slavs, but after the Slavs took the reigns of power after the death of Stalin, the mass murder stopped (although of course repression remained). I suppose that this dichotomy is purely a coincidence - right? 

Odds and Ends, 6/29/20

In der news.

In preparing for possible legal and government regulation action against certain left-leaning institutions, I came across one vulnerability that may be useful.  Interestingly, certain Far Right entities are probably even more vulnerable to the same approach.  I obviously will not discuss what it is here – I’m not in the business of assisting the Left nor of warning the Quota Queens.  I’ll simply continue to plan ahead for possible legal action against the aforementioned leftist entities (if necessary).

But I will say that this all confirms to my mind the ineptness and reckless stupidity of the Quota Queens, and the manifest inferiority of WN 2.0 (WN 1.0, insofar as I know, didn’t make the same error). It also underscores to an even greater extent how moronic and inefficient the Left is – for all their massive resources they leave low hanging fruit unplucked.  Or is it that they are afraid that the same approach can be leveraged against them? Perhaps that is it.  But given the anarcho-tyranny of a biased legal and government system, do they really need to worry about it?  Will the same consideration of System protection of the Left (i.e., protection of itself) hamper my own anti-leftist efforts in this regard?  On the other hand, for some entities, the thing they fear most of all is bad publicity. So, in that sense, the Left has far more to lose (given that the Right is already always portrayed badly in any case) unless the Left’s control of the media results in their bad publicity being squashed.  But in today’s era of the Internet and social media, I’m not sure that even the Left can put a lid on bad publicity.

Moving on...

In the short story Never Meet Again by science fiction writer Algis Budrys, a German scientist lives in a late 1950s alternative reality in which the Axis won the war and Germany is a prosperous and happy National Socialist regime. The scientist is himself personally unhappy because he blames the Nazis for the death of his wife.  So he designs a device that allows him to travel to an alternative reality that he thinks will be better – one in which Germany lost.  So, he does so – and ends up in a real dystopia, our reality, in which he turns up in Soviet-controlled dark and dreary late 1950s East Berlin. All around is squalor and miserable people. There, he meets that reality’s version of his wife, still alive, overjoyed to see him, since he himself was killed by an American bombing in this reality.  At which point, the wife, upon learning what he had done, turns him over to the Soviet authorities who want him to rebuild his machine to be used as an anti-American weapon.  Budrys was, in the word of the Alt Right: “based.”

Then we have Tau Zero by Poul Anderson, who was of Scandinavian descent, a book which pictures a future Earth ruled by (an ethnically homogeneous and very Nordic) Sweden.  That book displaces porn as onanistic material for Durocher.  Put that book down Durocher, lest you get a priapism.

The Slavic soul.

A perfect example of why Counter-Currents is despicably dishonest – a commentator there writes:

Later in the thread he responds to someone asserting that the sneering Frenchie poodle “scientist” won the covid-19 debate because Johnson’s ego is bruised by that, but he doesn’t directly defend his collectivist pro-lockdown views when those are ascribed to a “Leftist or even Communist background."

Johnson won’t do it, but I will, since I’ve been more on the covid-19 is a serious threat side as opposed to the flubro side.  Talking about “Leftist or even Communist” is simply ad hominem.  Collectivist action could be fascist, national socialist, Far Right, what have you. The good old “freedom and apple pie” USA always had no problem with collective action in wartime; the military draft being a prime example. Indeed, sometimes society requires protecting, and that usually entails collective action and investment in common social goods, not “sturdy individualism.”  “Freedom and individualism” requires collective action for protection, as others with less adherence to those principles will use collective action to strip those from you. Better collective action voluntarily by Whites, in a White manner, sacrificing some “freedom and individualism” to save the remainder, than to have alien outsiders use collective action to strip the White man of everything.  And, as I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again, the whole covid-19 lockdown issue is a strange “hill to die on” for the rah-rah individualists. Maybe being so militant would have served better as regards forced racial integration, affirmative action, mass immigration, etc. But I suppose defying White doctors and scientists is easier than defying Colored militants and their Jewish controllers, eh?

Contra "Admixture" Testing Redux

Food for thought.

More evidence in support of Sallis’ critiques of “admixture” testing.

Hellenthal et al, 2014 estimated from data of 94 modern populations a couple of analyses on Bulgarians inferred from an admixture event in 1000-1600 YBP between a Slavic and a Cypriot donor group: to a Polish donor group Bulgarians are of an estimated 59% Polish-like and 41% Cypriot-like admixture; to a Belarusian, Bulgarians are of 46% Belorussian-like and 54% Cypriot-like admixture.

It should be clear to the triple digit IQ crowd that Bulgarians are not literally a mix of 59% Polish and 41% Cypriot or 46% Belorussian and 54% Cypriot. The weasel word “like” gives a clue here (e.g., “Polish-like” instead of “Polish”). These data merely suggest that Bulgarian genomes could in theory be modeled as such mixtures given those specific options as parental reference populations; if other reference populations were chosen, the results would of course be different (note here how the levels of the “Cypriot-like” component changes dependent upon whether “Polish-like” or “Belorussian-like” is chosen as the other component). This is merely modeling (what current "admixture testing" is for the most part); it is not meant as a literal reading of ethnic history. And if the authors of the paper did in fact have the intention of it being literal in the sense quoted above, then they are being absurd.

Also note how different studies give significantly varied results and interpretations – about the same studied genomes. This also clearly demonstrates that study methodology (foremost among which is the choice of reference populations), and bias with respect to interpretation, color the reported findings

Extend this to commercially available “testing.” If a Bulgarian reference population was used, then ethnic Bulgarians would test as, say, 95-100% “Bulgarian” (dependent upon how closely their genomes match that of their co-ethnics chosen as the parentals). If, however, Poles, Belorussians, and Cypriots were chosen as the parentals, then results would likely mirror the modeling of Hellental et al. Companies also interpret these data differently. 23andMe, for some bizarre reason, would place Cypriots as “West Asian” while at the same time labelling Ashkenazi Jews as “European;” in contrast Living DNA is labelling Cypriots as (Southern) European.

We can see the problems here. Unfortunately, semi-retarded simpletons who spontaneously ejaculate over “testing” results do not see the (quite obvious) problems.

But that’s not the kind of speech I’m interested in hearing. I tune that garbage out just as automatically as I tune out commercials and animated Internet ads. Donald Trump’s speeches, and those of his rivals, might as well not even exist as far as I’m concerned.

Forget Donald Trump. This is the speech I want to hear:

Now that’s the kind of speech I want to hear. Of course, when the real speech comes along there may be significant variations — it might not encompass all of America; it might just be the secession of a significant part. It might encompass more than just America. It might begin in another nation. But it will, it must, entail the defeat of those who are trying to kill us — who are committing genocide.

The specifics of the “powers” gained — powers that cannot be resisted — might not be what you think, either. You could think of those powers as what the great film director Alfred Hitchcock referred to in the plots of his films as the “MacGuffin.” It’s a made-up nonsense word for an important concept in fiction and drama. The word was coined by the English screenwriter Angus MacPhail who worked with HItchcock, but the concept is as old as the earliest stories ever told.

Now what is a MacGuffin? To a director, it’s the thing, and it could be anything, that the main characters want to have, must have, and which sets them fighting each other, killing each other, and all the rest. It could be the secret microfilm, as in Hitchcock’s North by Northwest. It could be the Maltese Falcon. It could be the gold in the hills or the oil in the valley. In Medieval tales, it might be the “Holy Grail.” In more modern works, it could be a new and secret weapon that cannot be resisted. It’s what the characters must have.

In my analogy, it’s what we must have. It doesn’t have to be an irresistible weapon as implied in my speech. It could be an irresistible anti-weapon, as I also suggested. It could be a new way of thinking adopted by so many of our folk that they’ll never support, or work for, or fight for the System that is killing us again. It could be a new spiritual movement that unites a million or ten million White people in a new society-within-a-society so strong that it comes to power silently and bloodlessly. It could well be something that has not only not been thought of yet, but hasn’t even been conceived abstractly. But whatever our MacGuffin turns out to be, we must have it. We must win. And building the consciousness that we are right, that we must win, among more and more of our folk — is precisely what makes it more and more likely as time goes on that what we need will be created and will be given to us and to no one else. And once we have what I lightheartedly call the MacGuffin — once we have what We Must Have — then we will finally be able to do What Must Be Done.

Of course, there was differences of opinion on these matters in National Socialist Germany, and no doubt one can find quotes that are less hostile to the Slavic peoples (most of which no doubt date to after Stalingrad), but how can one deny Hitler’s attitudes on this question and his ultimate war aims in the East?

Both are indigenous to Europe, unlike the origins of Ashkenazi Jews, and have a very similar 7,000 to 10,000 year history in their genetics, again, which the Ashkenazi only have due to relatively recent admixture (last 400 years or so) from Europeans. It's been shown in studies that a fairly low percentage have a fairly low amount of admixture from non-European non-Whites (some Italians and some Slavs). Southern and Eastern Europeans are on the peripheries so obviously there will be more outliers and ancient "frontier" and borderline mixtures. And to put a little finer edge on the concept, it is not just fame in itself which is important. What counts also is the type of fame, the type of renown. The goal was to be remembered not just for being able to throw a spear farther than others or to swing a battle-ax harder or to use a sword more skillfully; it was to be remembered for having lived a meaningful life, a significant life. For some that meant a life of accomplishment, of changing the world; for others it meant a life lived as closely as possible in accord with the ideals of personal honor and of service to one’s people, so that one’s life could be held up as a model and remembered as such.

Superiority is not a birthright; superiority must be earned.

Whither the White Ethnics

Men or mice?

Considering all the usual “movement” shenanigans, which go on and on without end, it is clear that Der Movement, Inc. has nothing to offer to so-called White ethnics (Southern Europeans, Eastern Europeans, and Irish Catholics).

At best, you’ll be nothing more than a subaltern step-and-fetchit caste; at worst, you are “the niggers of Europe” (Irish), “Euroniggers” (Italians), “Asiatic subhumans” (Slavs), “Med filth” (all Southern Europeans”), “Tatars” (Russians), “hora-dancing Gypsies” (Romanians), or “greasy Gypsies” (the Hungarian Orban, of all people, has been called that).  And if you say that “movement leaders” don’t believe that or use that language, I’ll tell you that at best they tolerate it (wink, wink, nod, nod) at their websites and in their organizations, and at worst, they really do believe it and encourage it (typically indirectly so as to keep enough “cover” to maximize tin cup panhandling among their White ethnic adherents).

What then to do if you are a racially aware White ethnic?  Indifference or hostility to racial nationalism is maladaptive. Narrow ethnonationalism is a self-defeating dead end. So is any sort of makeshift subracialism or regionalism. Staying within Der Movement, Inc. and accepting it as it is means that you really are the cringing racially degenerate inferiors the fetishists claim you are.  

What is necessary is for all pan-European-minded persons of European stock worldwide – both the Anglo-Germanic pan-Europeanists and the White ethnic pan-Europeanists - to together reject the Old Movement, and build a New Movement, based on sound principles (my suggestions are here).

Unfortunately, I suspect that for the most part this will fall on deaf eyes and blind eyes, and many White ethnic racial activists will be content to fil the role of “movement” court jesters, vying for table scraps, the target of (in this case) well-deserved contempt and disdain.  Why should you expect Anglo-Germanic pan-Europeanists to be concerned if you won’t lift a finger to help yourselves first?  A pan-European Movement cannot be a mirror image of the EU – or at least, popular perceptions of the EU – where hard-working and disciplined Germanics have to carry along lazy, undisciplined, and incompetent PIGS peoples. I’ve tried to do my part for two decades; why can’t the rest of you demonstrate that there are some men left among the micks, wops, dagoes, and hunkies?

Now, let’s flip the analysis, and look at it from the perspective of the “movement.”  What I say to Der Movement is this.  If you want to restrict your ingroup to Anglo-Germanic Europeans, if you want to repel and eschew White ethnics, then by all means continue doing what you are doing, full steam ahead, you’re doing a great job.  However, if you want to appeal to, and recruit, White ethnics, I must tell you in all sincerity that you are sabotaging your efforts on a regular basis. Typically, the way to appeal to, and recruit, people is not to constantly and gratuitously offend them, distort their identities, and go out of your way to use dubious (at best) or obviously ludicrous (at worst) memes to undermine your target audience and say, in so many words (and sometimes more or less directly), that they are worthless.  It’s also not conducive for recruitment when you use dubious or ludicrous memes to denigrate those you ostensibly want to recruit, while suppressing genuine, objectively verifiable memes that focus negative attention on outgroups like Jews and Asians.  If your alleged objective is to appeal to all Whites, then you are digging a deep hole for yourselves.  Maybe the first step to remedy the situation is: stop digging.
