Anatomy of Error

A brief analysis.

I read this book long ago, when it first came out; it is very good, is recommended.  

What are some major errors in Der Movement?  What is the “anatomy of error” in (American) White racial activism?

Among many – reversing the strategic order of how things should be done.  Prudence dictates that you first thoroughly prepare for an action, build the required infrastructure, prepare for the enemy’s response and for other contingencies, and then you proceed.

Thus, first, you build an infrastructure, and then you go public with your rallies, protests, actions, and so forth.  If you want to provoke the System, you had better be prepared for the System’s reaction. What the “movement” does instead is have their rallies and protests and public meetings and violent outbursts with zero infrastructure there for support – zero legal teams, zero media structures, zero elected officials who are true fellow travelers, zero integration in the local community, zero economic self-sufficiency, zero strategy, and zero planning.

Ironically, all the representatives of big-brained European ethnies that are celebrated in the “movement" for their foresight and discipline behave worse than the most incompetent, undisciplined, and hare-brained gesticulating swarthoid.  Superiority is not a birthright, it has to be earned. And Der Movement and its failed leaders have earned nothing.

Let’s move on.  What can be done for young White men frustrated with the System, despairing of a pathetically failed “movement,” and tempted to ruin their lives by lashing out with sporadic violence against an entrenched overpowering System?

Besides taking my advice to concentrate on their own selves and well-being over all else – we need quality men, not broken boys – they need to be able to fit into a real movement that can give them a sense of purpose in an atmosphere of competence and manly collegiality (the latter of which is not effete Bronyism or homosexuals “flirting” with “cute” activists at “extreme vetted” meetings). I’ve long been an advocate of a Legionary-type structure, which would of course necessitate a real leadership and a real competence beyond that currently available in Der Movement.

For such an activity, real vetting and security are required.  Now, I’m not going to discuss what could and should constitute such vetting on a public forum, but I will give two examples of what such vetting should not be.  “Are you Swedish?” is insufficient as “extreme vetting.”  Having a Skype conversation in which you congratulate a candidate (in reality, an infiltrator) on their Northwest European heritage, while mocking Brooklyn Italian-Americans, also does not meet the standards of effective vetting and security.

It’s interesting, but in my analog, meat-space, IRL WN 1.0 days, there were zero instances (insofar as I am aware) of private meetings being infiltrated.  Now, public meetings were another story, operational security there was sub-standard, but at least the physical security was sound, so the outcome of public meeting infiltration was a bit of snooping (which admittedly was bad) and not violence.  But the private meetings were sound – thus, the WN 1.0 crowd, for all their faults, were a step ahead of WN 2.0. Thus, the lack of proper operational security is a major error of Der Movement today, and is in fact part of the infrastructure problem cited at the beginning of this post, since “opsec” is one of the most fundamental pillars upon which to build everything that follows.

Let’s consider the problem of freakishness and silliness. There are of course many divisions within the “movement.” Pan-Europeanism vs. ethnonationalism, pan-Europeanism vs. Nordicism, vanguardism vs .mainstreaming, Christianity vs. anti-Christians, ethnic fetishists and those who oppose them, etc. Readers know I have strong views on these topics that often clash with established “movement” dogma. But even when I oppose that dogma, at least I can understand it, I can see the points of the other side, and it is something within the realm of rational possibility.  It can be in some ways defensible through reasoned argument, even if I disagree ad make my own reasoned arguments against the memes I oppose.

However, when observing the current WN 2.0 fiasco, things occur that are so outlandish that I simply cannot understand how any ostensibly intelligent, sane, and rational activist can promote any of it. Yang Gang? Tulsi Coconut? The years of slavish Trump worship? Bronyism – My Little Pony, for godssakes!  I’m at a loss, completely at a loss.  WN 1.0 was a disaster, sure, but it was a disaster mitigated at least by an aura of seriousness, or at least semi-seriousness.  What we have now is like a bad comedy routine.

Thus, another constant error of the “movement” is the promotion of freakishness that has no direct connection whatsoever to racialism. For example, it is because of anti-science raving retards like this that we have a growing measles problem in the US. Some microbes are indeed just waiting for you.  Measles has a very high infectivity rate; if you are exposed and not immune, your probability of illness is close to 100%.  You can of course argue that filthy scum not getting their children vaccinated - and many of these in the current outbreak are Ultra-Orthodox Jews – is a sign of weakness (in this case mental), and I’ll agree with that. Leave it up to morons like “Stronza” and we would still have smallpox epidemics and folks in iron lungs from polio.  Pepe!  Kek!  Traditionalism!  We can bury those dead five year olds snug in our hobbit holes!

This completely superfluous stupidity damages the image of racialism to both the general public and to the science and technics types that we need as one component of our arsenal of human material. I’m not surprised that the affirmative action “leadership” doesn’t know any better. 

Coming full circle, we can mention another fundamental flaw of Der Movement, on par with reversing the order of organization (which should come first) and action (which should come after) – the inability to clearly and decisively define an ingroup. This is something I’ve written about often. The defining characteristic of any group is the decision of who is in and who is out.  Without a clearly defined and stable boundary of membership, there is no group.  That boundary needs to be decided BEFORE the group is formed, before people are recruited and action is taken. If there are going to be any changes in the composition of the group (changes which should be rare in any case), it always should be in the direction of greater inclusion – and if current members of the group object to that inclusion then they can voluntarily leave – freedom of association – and form their own groups with their own boundaries. But you cannot start redefining your ingroup for the purposes of exclusion after the fact, after people have been members for months or years (or even decades), investing their time, effort, money – their blood, sweat, and tears – their lives, for the group.  That’s not the time to tell them – “hey, we’ve reconsidered, you’re not part of the ingroup after all.”  

You’d think things like that should be obvious to the high born honorable superior big-brained heroic figures of Der Movement, but apparently not.

The Strong Horse is Not My Little Pony

Could it be that young White men with fundamentally healthy instincts are frustrated because “leaders” are promoting Bronyism and endorsing non-White liberal Presidential candidates?  Can we “understand” these shootings by pointing out that “movement leaders” have completely failed in every way possible, even to the point of becoming cringeworthy embarrassments?  Yang Gang!  Tulsi Coconut!  My Little Pony!  Pepe!  Kek!

Do the folks shown here support The Yang Gang?  We went from Caesar, Charlemagne Napoleon, and the Waffen SS to that.  That should be condemned, not encouraged.

The absolute worst aspects of WN 1.0 are infinitely superior to anything WN 2.0 has to offer.  Given the choice between James Mason foaming at the mouth over Charles Manson or Buttercup Dew mincing around over cartoon ponies, I’ll take the former, thank you very much.

Back to the San Diego shooting.  Great timing numbnut…right after the Congressional hearing.  Could it be any worse? I mean, the confluence of Type I Nutzism and affirmative action does wonders for the “movement.”  Let’s have some more posts about how brain structure proves the superiority of particular ethnies, said superiority no doubt well represented in “movement” "activism.”  But as bad as these people are, the “leaders” are worse. The more sensitive members of the rank-and-file likely look upon Der Movement and see nothing but a barren wasteland of hopeless despair, populated by freaks, weirdos, perverts, Bronies, incompetents, fetishists, and grifters.  So, in response, these young men have as their role models are racialist mass murderers.  Wonderful.  So much winning!

We need to give activists another choice than that between being a “shoot-‘em-up” Nutzi or being an effeminate Brony with more estrogen that a slumber party of teen-aged girls.

Note also the fellow’s disgust with The God Emperor – demonstrating that a disgust with “leadership” (in that case, Presidential) is fueling these episodes.  Another “movement” fail – obsessing over the fat fraud Trump instead of building a real infrastructure.  

Watch this.

These young men should be taking the advice I have been giving for young (and all) activists – take care of yourselves first, get an education, build your career, make money, save, if you want a family than go in that direction – build a real life.  Do not sacrifice yourself for a grifter-freak “movement” or even for “the race” - a mewling omega race of weaklings and losers – unless you can accomplish something that will definitively and significantly enhance your genetic interests.  This fellow Earnest should have finished his education, built his career, saved his money, and then participated in activism in a sane and sustainable fashion. But, alas, misled and let down by “leaders” and in a state of desperation, these types lash out.

How’s that Arctic Alliance coming along, Derbyshire?  That is in my opinion indirectly connected to the shooting as well. Racialists in the rank-and-file are likely disenchanted by rice burners and mustard dippers being spokesmen for Der Movement, and maybe they are also tired of all the money donated being flushed down the toilet, so folks can gamble, watch movies, and sit comfortably on lawn chairs.

On the other hand, I see this as probably being a net positive, even if it was a bit silly and juvenile - non-violent protest that shows the SJWs that their “safe spaces” may not be so safe from dissident opinions after all.

Attention Johnson and McCulloch:

What has happened as a result of Trump’s election is a good example of how difficult it will be to put through a pro-White policy to address the demographic disaster that is unfolding even if a nationalist-sounding politician is elected. From the very beginning of Trump’s administration, he has been beset with investigations and lawsuits, and there has been a torrent of hatred and invective directed at him in the media and on social media like Twitter and Facebook. Comparisons of Trump with Hitler and Nazism have been routine, during the campaign and since he became president. This is unprecedented in American history. Trump has been unable to get any good immigration-related legislation through Congress because of unanimous Democrat opposition and significant opposition from Republicans. And the courts have routinely ruled against him in the many jurisdictions with liberal judges.

But, hey, our victory is just around the corner.  No, wait, in 50 years.  No, wait, we have 200 years.  Well, whatever. Just send in dem dere “D’Nations!”

What is more useful: envisioning the creation of white homelands as being easy or hard? Because the harder it seems, the fewer people who will consider it possible or desirable.

Let’s give people unrealistic expectations, let’s have the typical “victory euphoria” (even for future victories) - yes, as long as you all send in the “D’Nations.” Remember, things objectively are absolutely terrible, but if you send in money, you’ll be living in the Golden Age today!  Better Gold than Tungsten, eh?

At the very last scene of that, there’s a scene in SCANNERS where I’m set on fire and my head comes up and those scleras they put on your eyes, they had scratched all my corneas. So the contact lenses they had made for me to change my eye color didn't fit properly because my eyes had been scratched. Dick Smith happened to have with him Dustin Hoffman’s eyes from LITTLE BIG MAN and they were actually oversized, and you wouldn't normally do this because they have to be fitted, but when you see me come out from under that coat at the end of SCANNER, those blue eyes of mine are Dustin Hoffman’s from LITTLE BIG MAN.

Apparently, Hoffman used colored contact lenses in Little Big Man, and that film image was used for Ironside's eyes in Scanners because of Ironside's scratched corneas.

I know Unz has an agenda, but, please, do better.

I can imagine that some people will question the importance of this. “Who cares?” they will declare.  No doubt, I will be accused of pedantic nitpicking. However, there is a larger issue here than just the eye color of Michael Ironside. One defining characteristic of Der Movement is people making self-assured public pronouncements that are not only wrong, but very easily demonstrated to be wrong with about thirty seconds of casual googling.  We have Duchesne, whose main focus is the uniqueness of Western civilization, completely misrepresenting the Neolithic farmer ancestry in Europeans. We have Mangan and his smug bombastic comments about most Italian-Americans being of North Italian descent. We have Alt Righters stating “Arthur Kemp was right” concerning Ancient Egyptian genetics that demonstrate precisely the opposite. What we see is carelessness, sloppiness, and a lack of attention to detail that is all very disconcerting, and that is, in my opinion, directly associated with the endless failures of “leadership” and all of the infiltrations and other lapses in judgment.  

Imagine you were reading the resume or CV of someone applying to you for employment, and you observe that their submission is full of spelling, grammar, and formatting errors. Would you hire them?  It is the same principle – can you trust people in positions of authority who make mistakes that could have been avoided with minimal effort, with minimal care, with minimal attention to detail?

We'll wait and see what the facts are, but likely this will be used an another excuse for censorship.  I really wish these numbnuts would stop shooting up places of worship. It's not advancing any sort of "cause," my friends.  Just stop.

The NRA is not part of the "movement," but it is part of the broader "Right" even though they claim to also represent "pro-gun liberals" and other such rare creatures.

Peak Alt Right and Other News

More "movement" madness.

Peak Alt Right.  Affirmative action at its best. One needs to comprehend what is going on here.  One candidate is a Chinaman whose signature policy initiative is to pay off Whites so that they accept their demographic, cultural, political, social, and economic dispossession, and so they won't "act out" against their Asian masters and betters. The other candidate is a part-Samoan woman who advocates reparations for Negroes.  And that is who the Alt Right faction of Der Movement is endorsing.

Science over Der Movement: Absolutely correct. Duchesne has good intentions no doubt, but the Ostara-style analysis has to go.  Doesn’t look like Arnold playing Conan.  

Johnson censoring further ripostes to Duchesne.  Maybe "Weak" should instead post over at The Unz Review, that deep repository of "movement" "thought." Maybe they'll be a few shekels in it for him if he does.

Good news.

Brown truths.  But, but,. but...Joan of Arc. Actually, Johnson's constant references to Joan of Arc is interesting considering that a certain august "movement" personage, who shall go nameless, is said to have an obsessive fascination with that historical figure. Whether there is any connection with respect to that, or whether it is merely coincidence, is unknown at this time. However, Joan of Arc was a genuine heroine for the French people, and to invoke her name to defend YouTube Alt Lite bimbos is akin to blasphemy.

In the aftermath of Trump’s election, the Left was at a fork in the road, sociopolitically and strategically speaking. They could have chosen the path of conciliation, of trying to understand the grievances of White America, the path of making concessions in the hope of stabilizing a situation that, if left unstabilized, had the potential of disrupting the multicultural consensus.  Alternatively, they could have chosen the path of defiance, to double down on their anti-White agenda, to become even more extreme in their destructive militancy, to stand up to Trump and the Right, and to crush the spirit (and body) of White resistance. They chose the second path.  It was a wise choice (at least in the short term).

Suvorov’s Law of History: Revolutions do not occur at the time of greatest repression, but when that repression is suddenly relaxed. If the Left had become conciliatory, if they had relaxed the anti-White repression, if they had eased back and had made concessions, if – and this above all – they had granted legitimacy to the idea of White interests, then that would have started the ball rolling in the direction of an upheaval that had the potential of truly wrecking the multicultural system. If they had showed weakness, even the pathetic rightist guppies may have turned into sharks smelling blood in the water.

Whether from a careful reading of history, from political savvy, from instinct, or just as a side effect of blind hatred towards Whites, the Left avoided the error of easing up on the repression and instead took the other fork in the road – they doubled down, tripled down, quadrupled down and more, on the repression. The Left has unleashed a tidal wave of anti-White hatred, of repression of the Right, of a savage political correctness, the like of which has not heretofore been seen in America.

The Left took a gamble with their choice, of course.  If Trump has been a genuine man of the Right, a man of honor who promoted and defended his supporters, then the Left would have had a hard time of it.  If the Far Right had been clever, and had used the past two years on infrastructure-building, electoral politics, and real metapolitical education – never mind the most important task of building a New Movement to correct the flaws of the Old – then the Left would have been challenged by an authentic strong opposing force.  But the Left took the measure of Donald Trump and of the Far Right and rightfully found them wanting.  

However, whether or not the gamble will work for the Left in the long term depends on how the Far Right (I do not care about the Mainstream Right) deals with its own fork in the road. The Left is smarter than the Far Right (which is not saying much), but the word "smarter" implies a comparison in the relative sense. In an objective sense, the Left is stupid. Yes, given the situation they found themselves in after November 2016, they made the right decision, but why were they in that position to begin with?  They started boiling the frog of White dispossession too quickly; they were so intoxicated by their dominance and by their anti-White hatred that they did not realize that they were pushing too far too fast. 

So, yes, they made the right choice given their limited options. But ultimately the Left is sowing dragon’s teeth and they may one day reap the whirlwind.  If that happens, from their perspective it will be because they “inadvertently” caused “unforeseen negative consequences” due to their efforts “to make the world a better place,” but to the rest of us, the outcome was quite easily foreseen – IF the Far Right chooses the right direction. Does the Far Right follow the same old path of failure and disaster or does it take a fresh path, a new path, and remake a failed “movement” into a real movement that will make the Left pay for its gamble? We need to take advantage of all those sown dragon’s teeth, all the bitterness and balkanization the Left has created, and force the Left to a new fork in the road.  But this time if they choose to push back with more repression, they’ll find a Far Right ready and willing to push back, and push back hard; on the other hand, if the Left backs down and chooses conciliation, we need a Far Right ready and willing to accept nothing but total victory, to keep on pushing, and not “declare victory (prematurely) and go home” as it usually does.  We need a Far Right ready to push past conciliation into revolution.

No more Men on White Horses, not more Yang Gangs, no more stupidity – ourselves alone – and with real leadership, not affirmative action basket cases driving us to one disaster after another.  There is the fork in the road – one path to deliverance, the other to the abyss.  Which one to take?

Duchesne and Other News

If Duchesne thinks that only Southern Europeans have Neolithic Anatolian Farmer ancestry, he’s completely wrong. That ancestry is at its highest levels in Southern Europe, but it is found, at various levels, in all parts of Europe.

The way to argue against the meme of “Europeans are just mongrels from migrations” is NOT to argue that all of the ancestors of modern Europeans sprang up from the soil of Europe back into the mists of time. If you go back far enough, hominid origins were in Africa (most likely). 

The proper argument is to point out that EVERY group was formed by migrations and mixes, including all of the colored “indigenous” groups the SJWs so love.  Amerindians originated in Asia; however, we call them indigenous Native Americans because their process of ethnogenesis took place in the Americas, their identity as a group is historically rooted in the Americas, they are the oldest extant group to have come into being in the Americas, and they became a genetically and culturally distinct group (distinct from their own ancestors as well) in the Americas.  The same applies to Europeans in Europe.  I define “indigenous” here.

And the fact that something occurred in the past does not obligate us to accept something similar happening in the present or future. The fact that my embryonic and fetal development took place in my mother’s reproductive tract does not mean that I should go out and attempt to shove my head up a woman’s vagina.

How a group came to be in no way obligates it to pursue or accept a course of events that would lead to its diminishment and demographic replacement. And, anyway, ancient European genetics tend to overlap in PCA plots in a general sense with various modern European populations; none of them overlap with Nigerians or Chinamen.

So much winning!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A former engineer and a Chinese businessman have been charged with economic espionage and conspiring to steal trade secrets from General Electric Co to benefit China, according to an indictment unsealed by the U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday.

The indictment against the former GE engineer, Xiaoqing Zheng, and Chinese businessman Zhaoxi Zhang, comes after Zheng was initially charged in August in connection with the alleged theft. It marks the first time the U.S. government has formally said the scheme was carried out to benefit China and that the Chinese government provided "financial and other support."

According to the indictment, Zheng stole the proprietary data on GE's turbine technology by encrypting the files on his computer and secretly embedding them into a digital photograph of sunset before emailing the photograph to his personal email.

Zheng, 56, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday and was allowed to remain free on bond. His attorney Kevin Luibrand declined to comment.

The charges are the latest in a handful of cases brought by the Justice Department since last year as part of a broader crackdown by the Trump administration, which has vowed to fight Chinese theft of corporate secrets, cheating through intellectual property theft, illegal corporate subsidies and the use of rules that hamper U.S. corporations that want to sell their goods in China.

The FBI has said in the past that nearly every one of the agency’s 56 field offices have investigations into economic espionage tied to China.

The 14-count indictment against the pair charges that Zheng, who worked at GE Power & Water in Schenectady, New York, stole multiple electronic files containing details about design models, engineering drawings and other specifications related to the company's gas and steam turbines.

Prosecutors say he emailed the files to Zhang, who was located in China.

GE said in a statement it has "been in close cooperation with the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for some time on this matter."

The two men allegedly used the stolen information to advance their own business interests in two turbine research and development companies - Liaoning Tianyi Aviation Technology Co Ltd and Nanjing Tianyi Avi Tech Co Ltd.

The indictment adds that the pair received financial and other support from the Chinese government through those two companies, and they coordinated with Chinese government officials.

According to the indictment, Zheng told GE in February 2016 that he was operating an aviation parts supply company in China with his brothers, and asked permission to ensure it did not violate any rules about conflicts of interest. GE approved his proposal, asking that he protect the company's intellectual property.

About a year later, around November or December 2017, GE discovered a large number of encrypted files saved on Zheng's computer.

By July 2018, the company learned he had embedded the files in the seemingly innocuous photo of a sunset and emailed them to himself.

In interviews with the FBI in August 2018, prosecutors said he admitted to taking GE files. He also told agents his companies in China had received grant money from the Chinese government.

Zheng and Zhang, 46, were formally indicted on April 18. A jury trial has been set for June 24 in Albany, New York. Zhang was believed to be in China, the Justice Department said.

The Ratchet Only Moves Left

Look at the history of the United States over the last 60 years or so.  When a “liberal Democrat” is President – particularly when coupled with a Congressional majority of like kind – leftist, anti-White policies come fast and furious.  This was especially prevalent with Lyndon Johnson, with the Civil Rights and Immigration Acts, and the other social engineering of the 1960s, including the “war against poverty” that transferred untold amount of wealth from White to Black America (there’s your reparations, right there); it was also prevalent with Barack Obama, with DACA.  But, here’s the point – when a “conservative Republican” is in power, even when coupled with a Republican Congress, the country still moves to the Left, albeit a slightly slower pace than before, but sometimes faster socially and culturally.  Nixon gave us affirmative action and busing, Reagan gave us illegal amnesty and the Martin King holiday, the Bush family were racial liberals, and Trump is a fraud who has done nothing for his base and has made sounds about increasing legal immigration.  Speaking of mass immigration, it - in both its legal and illegal forms – has been in full force, regardless of who is in power. There’s never any attempt to meaningfully reverse any leftist initiative.  Executive orders regarding affirmative action remain in force, despite whatever “conservative Republican” is in power.  Culturally and socially, the country moves to the Left in either case – it certainly did under Johnson (mostly because of the war in his case) – but “conservative Republicans,” despite not actually doing anything “conservative” domestically as regards race and culture, trigger intense leftist social activism.  We saw it under Reagan, and even more virulently under Trump.  We see the same in Europe. Rightist governments never reverse the tide of immigration, never attempt to repeat “hate speech laws” with restrict their own freedom of expression, never leave international agreements obligating them to take in refugees (America is the same) – which is the equivalent of open borders, since any invader can (and do) claim to be a “refugee” and has to be processed as such.

Both the Left and Right attack those on the Right.  Obviously, the Left does so, but when the Right is in power, they love nothing more than do concentrate their firepower on those farther to their Right.  “Based” Austria and Poland attack the Far Right, going so far as to ban Taylor from Europe (Poland) for example.  Trump’s DOJ persecutes his own supporters while giving Antifa a free pass; while people on the right have been virtually begging Trump to do the right (and obvious) thing and declare Antifa a domestic (and international) terrorist organization, he only has eyes toward Iran (we have to satisfy Jews, of course).

Of course, when it comes to actual “extremist” groups, the Left wins again, their groups are wildly successful while the Far Right is comically inept.

The Left has psychological intensity, for the Right it’s a hobby, the Right has no staying power, no drive.  The Left fights for a future (from our perspective a nightmare future), the Right fights for an imagined past.  The Left engages, the Right talks about being “snug in your hobbit hole.”

And, of course, the Mainstream Right is based on the same egalitarian lies as the Left; no wonder they move the ratchet in the same direction.  The Far Right is based on healthier ideas, but is composed of highly defective and unhealthy people and thus is incapable of achieving anything of value.

But, to be fair, the Jewish Question – at least here in America – raises its ugly head.  A thought experiment – imagine that Jews as a whole were right-wing, pro-White, nationalistic, with an agenda to promote wholesome family values – as opposed to the reality which is the complete inverse of all of that. In this bizarre world of right-wing pro-White American Jews, it would likely be the Right going from victory to victory, and the Left being inept and hopeless.  If all the Jewish intelligence, money, power, and influence were channeled to the direction of pro-White interests, it wouldn’t be as helpless as it is now.  But that’s only a thought experiment – Jews are a non-European, non-Western people with a historical – virtually inbred – animus towards Whites and the West, and they will, as a matter of course, as a group, oppose White interests and work for Western degeneration.  However, to be fair, we cannot blame the Far Right for all their failures here in America, although if they were clever and competent, they would find they still have room to maneuver.  European Rightists have less of an excuse, as the Jewish power is not as directly powerful there as here, although it is an important factor, including via powerful, indirect American influences.

The JQ cannot be changed.  How Der Movement deals with it, and the overall situation caused by it, can change.  The JQ is part of the problem, and the Far Right will ultimately be judged by its success or lack thereof, and success has to be obtained in the face of a determined and ethnically cohesive foe. This problem is "baked into the cake" of anti-Whiteness.  It cannot be evaded. Has Der Movement successfully dealt with it, or any other problem for that matter?  Has the Right as a whole understood what it needs to do?  Has it achieved any lasting victories whatsoever?  Or is it hopelessly inept?

If you want to defeat a powerful enemy, then being hopelessly inept is not the way to-do it.  And “hopelessly inept” is the perfect description of the Far Right.

Wolfe was a Korean War veteran, so he knew a thing or two about this subject.

Fair enough, but one can be “irascible” and “obsessive” and still be right. What exactly am I wrong about?  One could argue that I could be more “political” in how I express my opinions, but “obsessive irascibility” does not equate to being wrong about facts or logic.

Assessing the role of ancestry-associated genetic variations in disease etiology is further complicated by the recent admixture that characterizes various populations of the world (24). Hence, an individual's ancestry can be described by quantifying the proportion of the genome derived from each contributing population (global ancestry). Heterogeneity is also observed locally in the genome, as variability is observed in the ancestral origins of any particular segment of chromosomes (local ancestry; ref. 25). Ultimately, genetics plays a role in the biological characteristics of a cancer in the form of both germline variation and somatic alterations. Further research is needed to determine the extent to which genetic differences align with ancestral genetic changes (26).

Cell lines reported as “African” or “Black” clustered with African-American populations in 81.6% of the cases, emphasizing the ambiguity of the existing nomenclature. In fact, the proportion of the genome inferred to be of European origin in these cell lines averaged 18.32% (ranging from 0% to 95.09%). Another type of ambiguity concerns the cell line Hs 698.T labeled as originating from an “American Indian,” which clusters with populations of South Asia, suggesting an origin in India rather than from a Native/Indigenous American individual. A total of 26 cell lines were reported as Caucasian but clustered genetically with other populations including African (n = 2), African American (n = 6), East Asian (n = 1), Hispanic/Latinos (n = 16), and South Asian (n = 1). Interestingly, 89% of the cell lines identified as Hispanic/Latino from admixture patterns and clustering are reported as “Caucasian.” Several groups have reported a concordance between self- or observer-reported belonging to major racial/ethnic groups (141–143). However, these categories do not capture the inherent heterogeneity of admixed populations (144–147). What appears as inconsistencies in self-report and genetic data may result from individuals having limited knowledge of their ancestral origins, or culturally identifying to an ethnic group that is not representative of one's admixture proportions (18). Sociological, behavioral, and biological factors that underlie race, ethnicity, and ancestry are likely to interact (148). Consequently, from a biomedical research perspective, both self-reports of race/ethnicity group as well as genetically determined clustering and admixture are expected to be relevant in understanding disease susceptibility, and ultimately, the causes of health disparities (18, 148, 149).

Note the last phrase.  Also, importantly, there is misclassification.  Given that people are not always accurate about their own self-reported ancestry, what can we say about the ancestry testing companies that use customer samples to inflate their pathetically limited parental/reference population datasets?

Also consider Figure 1 in the paper. It looks to me like the cancer cell lines exhibit more admixture than the actual human population samples. At the very least, there are observable differences in ancestral proportions. Some of that of course is simply the well known admixture in "African Americans," but what about the other populations?  That could be due to the misclassification mentioned above, there are of course issues about sample size, and concerns over how accurate the ancestry testing is. Cancer cell lines also tend to have high mutation rates, reflecting the situation in the tumor of origin. However, even with all those caveats, can we consider the possibility that increased admixture is associated with a higher cancer risk; hence, cancer cell lines show more admixture because cancer patients are on average more admixed than is typical of the general  population?  Given how prevalent cancer is, the differences are not great, as we are dividing populations in two relatively similar “chunks” (the difference being cancer vs. non-cancer); but still, if there is going to be any differences between the two “chunks” – perhaps the cancer “chunk” exhibits more admixture than the non-cancer “chunk?” Anyone willing to test the hypothesis?  Or, we can consider the more general hypothesis of statistically significant differences in ancestry between cancer vs. non-cancer for each population group (regardless of admixture, or which group has more admixture, etc.).
