Johnson and Derbyshire

Two questions for Sir Gaslighter.

Johnson has written:

Derbyshire, by the way, is not a White Nationalist at all. He is a conservative cognitive elitist who is married to a Chinese woman and has two non-white children. Beyond that, he has attacked White Nationalists in the most scurrilous terms, referring to AmRen attendees as “latrine flies” and attacking Kevin MacDonald on the most swinish possible grounds. It is only when this sucking up to Jews and centrists failed to save him from the charges of racism that he began to associate with White Nationalists, who were all too willing to cross his palm with silver. Frankly it is disgusting that the donations of White Nationalists are being sluiced into the pockets of this opportunist.

So, I have two main questions for Greg Johnson.

First, do you still agree with your assessment of Derbyshire quoted above and, by extension, your assessment of those pro-White activists who “sluiced” donations “into the pockets of this opportunist?” If yes, move on to question two.  If no, then as a follow-up to question one, what does it say about your judgment and/or character that your initial assessment, reproduced above, has changed, since Derbyshire himself has not changed nor have his enablers?

Second, if the answer to question one is yes, then why do you associate with individuals who can be described as “White Nationalists, who were all too willing to cross his palm with silver” – Derbyshire’s primary enablers, who invite him to conferences (including Amren – the “latrine fly” conference) and who, presumably, pay him for his “work” and who also create the situation in which “the donations of White Nationalists are being sluiced into the pockets of this opportunist?” Let's consider some follow-up questions for question two, to determine as to why you associate with such individuals. Is it “political” expediency and convenience in Der Movement, to solidify your own status?  Is it Quota Queen solidarity as part of the “good old boys network?” Some other defect of judgment and/or character?  Please explain.

On a related note, I don’t want to be a “low information moralizer,” but I’m wondering - was Frank Borzellieri given all of the same assistance and opportunities after his “cancelling” that Derbyshire received after his own?  Maybe Borzellieri did, and it just did not work out, but I suspect that this was not the case.  If so, then why not, dear “movement?”

With respect to the spectrum of European and MENA genetic variation, in reality, looking at the PCA, the red triangle Sicilian samples aren't even individually visible, as they are all clustered among the mainland Southern Italian red diamonds as well as some of the Central Italians. Some thoughts on the Hood livestream. I enjoyed Johnson speaking on behalf of red state America vs. blue state coastal elites - what do you think YOU are? When's the last time you've lived in a red state, or even a "purple" rust state? Then Johnson stays silent when Hood says Trump didn't lose because of election fraud (be he said it later, but not confronting Hood). Then, Johnson makes a stupid anecdotal comment that people he knows who are vaccinated got sicker with Omicron more than unvaccinated heroes like himself. That's a silly, irrational, female argument - not surprising coming from the likes of him. Johnson also supports the idea of non-Whites - including Asians of course - running as candidates for "pro-White" interests. Rosie and the kids! Much of what Hood says about electoral politics is more or less reasonable, although I don't agree with everything. At this point, I can't stand listening to Johnson's voice any more, so I'm ending my analysis now.

Quo Vadis Activist?

Rebirth of American White Nationalism.

After chronicling the death of American White nationalism, what now?  I have written many times, in great detail, about the directions that I believe that White racial activism, particularly in American should go; for example, see here. More broadly, I have outlined the fundamental principles of a New Movement. Thus, there is no need to rehash all of that again here, but to simply put forth the need for action and to underscore that we are at fork in the road.

Shall we continue the endlessly failed approaches of the past and present, or try something new for the future?

We need a clear set of principles, and principled adherence to those principles, instead of short-sighted obsessions about optics, mainstreaming, and “brands.”

Similar to the Legionary Movement, we need to concentrate on activist quality.  While our fundamental principles are crucially important perhaps just as important – if not more so – is the quality of the activist. “People are policy” as the saying goes – you can have the best policies, the best ideas, the best principles, but if you have defective, low quality individuals you will never actualize your principles in the manner you want. You need the proper human material. The Legionaries stressed The New Man over policy, and even if they went too far in their disinterest in policy (and I believe that they did), still, their laser-like focus on building a “new type of Romanian” was correct.

Starting from the standpoint of someone who is some sort of European ancestry, with no favorites among European ethnies (unlike the “movement” with its well-known preferences), what can we say should be characteristics of a desirable activist?

Of course, an activist should present a professional physical appearance and should try to be as physically fit as possible, constrained of course by considerations of age and of health issues that may be beyond their ability to effectively remedy. My readers know I am not a Nordicist; I do not have criteria about certain racial/subracial archetypes; obsessing over “Nordic/Nordish” “blonde/blue” phenotypes is not what any of this should be about. I also do not share the “movement’s” infantile obsession with (male) height, a characteristic that is not within anyone’s ability to control. Certainly, there are certain roles (e.g., physical security) better suited for some physiques over others, but we must remember when we are judging someone within our racial-cultural ingroup, their overall worth as activists should predominantly derives from traits that they have control over, rather than those they do not.  Superiority is not some sort of innate birthright; superiority must be earned.

What about character?

And it is even more salient today. If there is ONE single thing I would advise White racial activists to do today, it would be to emphasize, to focus on, character and moral rebirth, to focus on The New Man.  With that, anything is possible.  Without that, nothing is possible. Although ideology, science, intelligence, strategy, et al. are all crucially important, they take a back seat to character and moral integrity.  You cannot build a worldwide revolutionary movement on a foundation of quicksand; you cannot build a victorious movement on a foundation of freaks, grifters, phonies, frauds, the morally defective, perverts, liars, gaslighters, deranged fetishists, tin-foil-hat conspiracy theorists, individuals with all sorts of completely superfluous hang-ups and bizarre theories, weaklings, traitors, and all the rest. We have to remake ourselves before we try and remake the world.

Recruiting people of sound character is a must, and, just as important, helping them to further build on that and improve their moral character after recruitment is essential.

Please note that this is not a plea for an unattainable perfectionism, nor is it an expectation that all activists be a “finished product” of the highest quality from day one; of course, I make no claims that I myself am without fault (as my critics would be eager to point out).  We can instead view this as a continuous process of self-improvement, a striving toward the optimal.  Further, there must be some standards and, yes, some of these standards can be expected from day one –not perfection, not optimal, but a solid starting point, a solid foundation of good character from which growth toward the optimal is possible. Unfortunately, in the “movement” with its low standards – despite all of its empty talk about eschewing defectives – this solid foundation is missing for many activists. Let's identify defectives in the context of pro-White activism:

A defective is someone whose ideas and/or behavior will repulse, alienate, and turn-off most White people independent of racial nationalism.

The last four words of the definition are crucially important.  We acknowledge that just being pro-White is itself often enough to repulse many Whites and is enough to have one be considered "defective" by the mainstream.  What I'm saying is let's eliminate that variable.  Let's look at the person above and beyond their racial nationalism.

It is clear what needs to be avoided and hopefully our understanding of what should be strived toward is improving. We need both strong principles, firmly espoused, and the quality people required to promote our ideals and actualize them into reality.

Addendum

One should not underestimate the extent to which non-ideological factors influence the “movement,” particularly at its highest levels.  There is of course self-interest, rent-seeking, personal obsessions and preferences (and perversions), as well as ego, ambition, and money-grubbing grifting. Just as much, personal relationships play a major role. If you dislike someone, if you feud with them, then you attack their entire ethnic group and oppose their ideology. On the other hand, personal friendships, warm feelings, do the opposite. Quota Queens have personal positive, friendly, relationships with Derbyshire (*), who is married to a Chinese woman with mixed-race children, and who says the right (i.e., highly negative) things about Negroes.  Quota Queens visit the Derbyshire household, eat meals made by his wife, invite him to speak at meetings, etc. In this manner, HBD and Asia-worship have a greater influence on Der Movement than they would have had in the absence of those positive personal relationships.  If you think I am joking, I assure you I am not; I have never been more serious.  It may sound absurd, but the reality is that “Rosie” has had more influence on the current state of Der Movement than, say, Salter or Yockey. If you think about it carefully and dispassionately, you will see that I am correct; this is all basic human nature. That is of course just one example; I can cite others. Of course, from the standpoint of serious pro-White politics (broadly defined), this high degree of influence of the personal is clearly unacceptable, but here we are.

I am at too many psychological disadvantages. I like and admire John Derbyshire very much. His delightful wife has fed me Chinese food she made with her own hands and she grows azaleas that could win a prize. I have even met Mr. Derbyshire’s very pleasant children.

Now, you may argue that Taylor then went on to oppose miscegenation, despite his friendship with the Derbyshire family. Well, race-mixing is a “bridge too far” – one cannot maintain status as a “movement” “leader” if one doesn’t oppose miscegenation. But I never said that miscegenation is being normalized; instead, HBD, Asia-worship, and the acceptance of Asians in America is being normalized. One can, for the sake of one’s position (and personal preferences) oppose, at least in theory, miscegenation (particularly White-Black race mixing), but once you get to “delightful wife has fed me Chinese food she made with her own hands and she grows azaleas that could win a prize” would you support the enforced repatriation of such a “delightful” person?  Or would you instead promote memes about how “high IQ” and “law abiding” that “delightful” person and her ethny is?

This is why character is so important, as well as an adherence to principles. To allow the likes of Derbyshire to contaminate the “movement” because of “friendship” and the perceived positive characteristics of his racially alien Chinese wife is simply unacceptable.

With these added data, one should agree that Fauci is a disgusting turd. Note well that now when the Chinese are involved, Der Movement becomes silent - they won't attack Fauci about that since they are guilty of the same.

Individuals should be held accountable for the wrong the actually do.  Fauci saying that The China Plague was and is a threat is not doing wrong, that's the facts; in that case, the flubros were the ones doing wrong. However, Fauci being another "Ben Dover" lickspittle adherent of Chinese interests - that is wrong, and we should all hold him accountable for that.

Criminal culpability – yes.  Absolutely yes.

The key to all of this is China. The key to general “movement” silence – or actual scoffing at the lab hypotheses – coming from Der Movement also involves China. Once you understand that HBD has completely infiltrated Der Movement and that HBDers literally – not figuratively, but literally – worship the Chinese, then that all makes sense.

What about the other problem, the fear, the free riding problem? Maybe the person in question is not quite so ignorant as they may first appear.  Maybe he at least strongly suspects others share his beliefs. But he is afraid to speak out, afraid of being wrong about his assessment of the beliefs of the others (so pluralistic ignorance feeds into the fear factor), afraid of the consequences of speaking out, afraid of social pricing. Each person therefore does not want to be the first one to speak out, they want someone else to be the first, and since everyone is waiting for "someone else," all remain quiet and nothing happens.  Each person wants to be a "free rider" on the courage of someone else, they want to reap the benefits that they will all accrue if "someone breaks the ice" and gets the process going, but each person refuses to invest the effort and sacrifice to be that first one.

So, either people are ignorant as to whether others realize that the System "has no clothes" and/or they refuse to be the first one to speak out, and so the pluralistic ignorance and selfish free-riding cowardice prevents anything from being done.  Racially aware Whites, deeply unhappy with the System, may be interacting on a daily basis with other Whites who feel exactly the same, but they do not know it.  And the System's social pricing approach is designed to feed into this, to make each person afraid to be the first to speak out, and, by not hearing any similar beliefs, each person is, in addition, ignorant about just how widespread these beliefs actually are.

Solving this problem requires someone to be the first to realize others feel the same and to be the first to speak out. One benefit of "democratic multiculturalism" is that it "breaks the ice" of Whites speaking out, and does so in a manner (i.e., complaining about discrimination as part of working within the context of multiculturalism) that is safer, less threatening, and more socially acceptable than an immediate foray into hardcore racial nationalism.

Unfortunately, The Emperor Has No Clothes paradigm applies to the "movement" as well. I cannot believe that no one else has the same complaints about the "movement" as I do, yet they remain silent, because they are not sure how widespread this discontent is, or they are afraid. They may be afraid that if they violate the "movement's" fossilized memes that they will be ostracized. They may feel unsure of themselves, and they may fear offending "movement leaders," they fear committing the crime of lese majeste against certain august "movement" personages. I myself do not care about being popular or not; I speak my mind and hope others will join in once I say that "there are no clothes."

I’m not sure why the rank-and-file, some of whom certainly know better, are so hesitant to criticize “movement” leaders. I can somewhat understand hesitancy in critiquing the System, which has real power, but Der Movement?

The realism about Chinese and Indians is good, but let’s take a look at the rest:

Becoming is a painful process, because each step is a murder-suicide. What I’m asking of you is to kill the best you can be, but also to kill criminals.

Assuming that is all true, he made the wrong choices. He could have done more for ultimate racialist objectives from a position of power than being some pudgy guy writing articles for the failed site Counter-Currents and making livestreams with Johnson. Compare the pitiful Borat reality of today, accomplishing nothing except raising D'Nations, with the possibilities of infiltrating mainstream politics or the state’s legal apparatus. 

The men you could become with access to globohomo’s capital are fine and respectable, but they’re ultimately accessories to a crime — the crime being the erasure of our people…

This is the perfect symbol for our degenerate times. Foreigners tell the American founding stock how benighted and deserving of oblivion we are, and are published by one of the country’s most prestigious academic presses. We have work to do.

We need to enter a phase where we study organization the way we studied media in the past. We learned to do good culture jamming style propaganda and better media skills is what made the alt-right a plater vs. the 1.0 movement. Everything that made the alt-right effective was copied from the left. We need to keep learning. We got through about one chapter of the leftwing playbook, got overconfident, slammed the book shut and thought we had won.

Here’s the impasse we are at now — we are the worst organized movement in the world. The focus now needs to be on learning all kinds of organization and on getting our people networked. Another issue that needs to be addressed is moral and the related issue of leadership, or lack there of. We have low morale compared to other movements. I have never seen any other political space where so many people are always wallowing in despair and no one seems concerned with morale at all. Our morale is in the toilet and we have no leaders who ever try to raise morale. Our de facto leaders are not inspirational, they are all hyper-analytical nerds who never think about how their follows must be feeling. We need leaders who are higher on empathy and more charismatic.

I agree with this comment. We need to understand that Der Movement is a complete disaster, the "leadership" of that "movement" are in large part responsible for that failure, and we need intelligent, competent, dedicated, rational, and disinterested people studying the proper way of building and maintaining an organization, and getting that organization to actualize its specific goals. Note the word "disinterested." We don't need grifters whose major concern is "D'Nations."  When folks run their little corner of the failed "movement" focused on maximizing their donation income, what's their real agenda?

I don't begrudge genuine activists, full time activists, being support by donations from those who wish to promote that activism. But they need to earn that support, they need to actually accomplish something positive.  The "D'Nations" need to be a means to an end, not an end to itself. The activist should get donations as a means to support themselves so they can effectively work as full time activists, they should not engage in half-assed "activism" as a means to achieve the end of convincing others to give money so that the "activist" can live well without actually working.

I leave it as an exercise to the reader to decide which of those two alternative possibilities describes your fearless leaders.

I hate bringing up this kind of thing, but are you aware that TOO has been plagued of late with what seems to me to be an ever increasing number of typos and minor errors? In every recent article, including this one, I have caught multiple small errors. How hard is it to have someone other than each post’s author simply read over posts prior to posting, and fix overlooked problems?

My concern is not any lack of understanding resulting from typos, but rather, that leaving small errors cheapens the value of the very real insights offered, especially in the eyes of educated but unawake whites with curious and open minds – precisely the type I would imagine TOO would like to reach and challenge. On a number of occasions recently that I have copied/emailed posts, I have had to go through them myself first, fixing the small problems. Unfixed, at least with my educated [conservative but not fully based] friends and acquaintances, they won’t have their maximum impact.

That is consistent with my criticism of other "movement" "leaders" and their constant spelling errors and other typos. Someone will no doubt point out the occasional typo at my blogs (errors I typically catch and correct within a day or so). The difference, of course, is that I'm running my blogs alone, one person doing both EGI Notes and Western Destiny, with very limited time. Unlike the Quota Queens, I'm not a full time activist living off of "D'Nations" (and, as stated, I don't have a stable of writers making contributions).  In my context, the rare typo is more excusable than the more frequent typos found among those who have no real excuse.

Growing up, I never thought about race. I was raised in a small, almost 100 percent white, town. My parents rarely talked about politics, but if you had asked me in my early twenties what political affiliation I had, I would have told you I was liberal. The only non-whites I saw when I was in elementary school were on television, and the blacks portrayed were likable, not dangerous. My parents never spoke to me about race, and I wasn’t curious about it.

Yes, I do believe that there is a correlation between "I was raised in a small, almost 100 percent white, town” and “if you had asked me in my early twenties what political affiliation I had, I would have told you I was liberal.” A causative correlation, I would think. My own life experiences would never have allowed such naivete. It’s a shame – on the one hand, exposure of White children to significant numbers of non-Whites, particularly Blacks and non-White Hispanics, is a form of child abuse; on the other hand, without such experience, painful and self-destructive racial naivete sets in. Perhaps some sort of educational paradigm where limited exposure to such racial specimens in a safe, controlled environment takes place would be suitable, but there really is no substitute for experiencing vibrancy “in the wild,” so to speak.

The alt-right needs to do more to oppose Asian immigration. We have a sickness in our movement of Asianphilia. It comes from Jared Taylor dishonestly and cowardly using Asian supremacist language to try to deflect from charges of white supremacism back in the 90’s. Then about ten years ago, the alt-right was flooded with low testosterone nerds with a sexual fixation on Asian women.

This virus was caused by the filthy and corrupt culture of the Chinese. They abuse animals and handle food in a filthy way. However, retarded morons in our movement created false conspiracy theories about the virus that take the focus off the flaws in Chinese culture and essentially absolve the Chinese of culpability.

It appears that elements of the alt-right are moving away from white nationalism towards some kind of ridiculous and useless multi-racial populism. Those of us in the alt-right who are sincere white nationalists need to do more to fight Asianphilia and Hispanicphilia.

Well, is there anything in that comment that is wrong? No. It reads as perfectly sensible to me. A truly wonderful and thoughtful comment.

 By the way, to assuage the paranoia of the anti-Sallis fanatics out there, I can assure you that "ATBOTL" is NOT Ted Sallis.  However, all of the important points are covered:

Then, yes, we had "a rite of passage in the Alt Right is dating Asian women," never mind all of Derbyshire's promotion of miscegenation, and the tolerance of  people like "Pilleater" (a tolerance that backfired on Johnson bigtime). "Sexual fixation on Asian women" - absolutely correct. However, to be more precise, it should be "an ultra-masochistic sexual fixation on Asian women."  From self-described "measured groveling" to bizarre ideation of black-booted Chinese girls with guns being the "border guards of the West," the problem goes beyond a mere "sexual fixation." HBD and Silk Road White nationalism, in my opinion, have their origins in some really sick sexual deviancies.

4. Elements of Der Right, spearheaded by the Jew Unz site, and also joined by Alt Lite retards like Ramsey, deflect blame away from China, either promoting transparently stupid anti-White conspiracy theories or fixating on peripheral issues like "masks."

5. White nationalism is, or should be, about White folks. We're not here to worship and defend the Asians who hate us and who, even in the best circumstances, are not us and can never be us.
