I've seen the "timeline" "data" from a number of people, and it's all been as absurd as that (or more so).   If DNAPrint as "bad," how is 23andMe better? In a gross sense it is, but in a net sense, compared to the "state of the art" at the time, and given what we should expect in 2017, and given Der Movement fantasies about absolute accuracy and precision, it's not. For majority ancestry, no problem, but for fine-grained analyses - not good at all.

And when are any of these companies going to provide genetic kinship data to established ethnic and racial categories?  Of course, academic population geneticists shy away from genetic kinship data as well - after all, we can't let the rubes know who they are most related to, can we?  I mean, they might get all, like, racist on us and all.

Amren Conference: Wishful Thinking?

A useful outcome.

The Amren conference (taking place right now) itself - an Alt Wrong fantasia well represented by the likes of Derbyshire and Brimelow - is nothing of great importance.

But would it be too much to hope for that Greg Johnson and Richard Spencer use the opportunity of their co-attendance at the meeting to amicably settle their differences? Perhaps Johnson and Dickson could as well, but the Johnson-Spencer schism is one of the largest ones in Der Movement today and is of greater importance.

Imagine the consternation of the Left if such a rapprochement took place.

Genetic Continuity in the Levant

Extant Canaanites.

The Canaanites inhabited the Levant region during the Bronze Age and established a culture that became influential in the Near East and beyond. However, the Canaanites, unlike most other ancient Near Easterners of this period, left few surviving textual records and thus their origin and relationship to ancient and present-day populations remain unclear. In this study, we sequenced five whole genomes from ∼3,700-year-old individuals from the city of Sidon, a major Canaanite city-state on the Eastern Mediterranean coast. We also sequenced the genomes of 99 individuals from present-day Lebanon to catalog modern Levantine genetic diversity. We find that a Bronze Age Canaanite-related ancestry was widespread in the region, shared among urban populations inhabiting the coast (Sidon) and inland populations (Jordan) who likely lived in farming societies or were pastoral nomads. This Canaanite-related ancestry derived from mixture between local Neolithic populations and eastern migrants genetically related to Chalcolithic Iranians. We estimate, using linkage-disequilibrium decay patterns, that admixture occurred 6,600–3,550 years ago, coinciding with recorded massive population movements in Mesopotamia during the mid-Holocene. We show that present-day Lebanese derive most of their ancestry from a Canaanite-related population, which therefore implies substantial genetic continuity in the Levant since at least the Bronze Age. In addition, we find Eurasian ancestry in the Lebanese not present in Bronze Age or earlier Levantines. We estimate that this Eurasian ancestry arrived in the Levant around 3,750–2,170 years ago during a period of successive conquests by distant populations.

So, essentially, modern-day indigenous Lebanese demonstrate highly significant – the large majority of their ancestry - genetic continuity with ancient Canaanites, with some more minor “Eurasian” admixture, tied to historical events, which mostly took place during the “ancient” Classical era.

Likely, most indigenous peoples represent significant genetic continuity with ancient peoples that occupied the same territories, with of course some degree of subsequent admixture, some of which would be “ancient” and some “modern.”  There would be exceptions, there are always exceptions, and the degree of admixture would vary from case to case. But one suspects that continuity is greater than what Der Movement typically postulates, with its breathless accounts of retconned population changes to explain whatever ethnic fetishism is in style at any particular time. Changes in population character are more likely to be due to dysgenic degeneration of native stocks than it is wholesale population replacement, or admixture of such an extent that it is practically equivalent to population replacement. No doubt such extreme cases have occurred in human history, but those are the (relatively rare) exceptions, not the rule.

The problem of course is that today, European-derived peoples are actually faced with real population replacement, dealing with a catastrophic combination of extremely low birthrates, mass migration of far more fecund alien peoples, and treasonous native elites (coupled to clever anti-White aliens) dedicated to facilitating native race replacement.  However, one cannot always project current trends to past eras. Sometimes, perhaps. Always, no.

I seem to recall someone on the Far Right labeling Trump a “buffoon” from the very beginning.  Who was that, I wonder?  Probably just some crazy and bitter nogoodnik who should be safely ignored.  Hail Pepe!  Hail Kek!  Hail the God Emperor!

Some confusion about branding.

The Alt Right “brand” was a White Nationalist entryist and outreach project from the very start. But the Alt Right worked best for White Nationalists by not being exclusively associated with White Nationalism. Normies would never try the Alt Right on for size if it were an exclusively White Nationalist movement....

At other times. we've been told by leading Alt Righters that the Alt Right IS White nationalism (and vice versa), an equation vehemently opposed by some on the Far Right who dislike the Alt Right brand.

The Alt Right has to be one of the most ill-defined political brands in American history.

Meanwhile, “watchdog groups” are crowing about the upcoming Amren conference that will be “electric” because of the co-attendance of Richard Spencer, the “reclusive” Greg Johnson, and Sam Dickson.  As always, the anti-White Far Left enjoys schadenfreude at WN expense.

Rotten Orange News: Behold the Buck Negger

Pathetic Trump.

These days, the person the “Buck Negger” is “negging” the most is his own Attorney General, Jeff Sessions.  You remember Sessions – the anti-immigration right-winger who was one of Trump’s earliest and most loyal supporters, and who gave up a safe Senate seat to take the job that the “Buck Negger” is trying to force him out of with a campaign of withering public humiliation and ridicule. That’s the same Sessions whose elevation to Attorney General was claimed by Roissy to be sufficient to justify the “Buck Negger’s” election to the Presidency.

Trump: groveling to DACA “dreamers” while attacking, in the most despicable and disloyal fashion, the most anti-immigration member of his cabinet. Mysteriously, Trump worshippers like Roissy, who squeal in delight when Trump makes off-hand comments to aging French hags, have nothing to say so far about the Sessions fiasco.  Is that a shiv too far?

The basic purpose of Rotten Orange News is to inoculate Der Movement against future infections of The Man on White Horse Syndrome.

I doubt it’ll work though.  To the naive, to the weak-minded, to the gullible, to the quota queens and other incompetents, an imaginary top-down “quick fix” is too alluring to ignore.

Against Game: July 2017

Against “game.”

Read this excellent refutation of “game” as a worldview.

In a healthy society, relative success in finding a girl for marriage is directly dependent on a man’s possession of character traits that are conducive to building and promoting civilization – e.g., conscientiousness, reliability, hard work, and intelligence. The twist here, and the source of the primary shock experienced while getting red-pilled about women, is that these are not the qualities that women find arousing. On the contrary, they are rather off-putting to them, and men for whom they are their main personality assets are seen as boring by women.

That is true.  The manosphere/game crowd are essentially correct from a descriptive standpoint. Where they fail - and fails miserably – is when they start prescribing.

Therefore, from time immemorial, it was seen as imperative to refuse women the freedom in choosing their mates, or at least to minimize it as much as possible. This is because the qualities in men that women find charming and arousing are inherently destructive to civilization.

True.  And, therefore, female empowerment is also “inherently destructive to civilization” – as the last 100 years of history have so amply demonstrated.

What is more, any constellation that allows freedom of mate choice for women is bound to distract a man from his primary, civilization-building vocation by forcing him to devote a certain amount of his energy and time to finding a woman, and then, if he succeeds at keeping her bound to him by constantly evincing the character traits that are attractive to her. In other words, under the conditions of women’s liberation, finding and keeping a mate for a man becomes a separate endeavour in itself, uncoupled from his success at his primary vocation. And it was exactly this scenario that traditional moral codes had tried to prevent.

According to the gamesters, finding mates (as in plural) is the core element of a man’s life. Not for reproduction – but for “poolside” hedonism.

In modern western society, most white men are now forced to squander their energy and time to find and maintain a woman. With women’s liberation, men are no longer able to concentrate fully on learning and professing their vocation, be it science, a craft, or an art. Getting married doesn’t eliminate or even reduce this strain either. With lax no-fault divorce laws, men who want to keep their marriage from falling apart have to constantly maintain their charm and alpha attitude, in other words, constantly remain exciting to their women.

And the gamesters think this is right and proper.  Every thought, action, word, and behavior of men need to be ever-so-carefully calibrated to appeal to ditzy female airheads.  That is the “manosphere!”

Building and maintaining the greatest civilization in human history is an onerous task. White men are busy building spaceships, unraveling the mysteries of human nature, sequencing genomes, etc. Such activities require utmost concentration, efficient usage of valuable time and energy, and full dedication. Inevitably this necessitates long working hours and often sleep deprivation, which is, among other things, known to negatively affect testosterone levels. Keeping a woman bound to him, while at the same time making a contribution to civilization therefore becomes a huge burden on the white man under modern circumstances. His energy should not be squandered on finding and keeping a woman if our great civilization is to sustain itself.

All true.  Yet the gamesters revel in this reality, telling us not to be serious, lest we “get no poosy.”

Therefore, it is of utmost importance that western society is re-arranged in such a way that a decent white man can find a suitable woman and keep her in marriage with minimum effort and without the need to be constantly exciting for her, the latter quality being entirely dependent on womens’ attraction to civilization-destroying traits in men (narcissism, Machiavellianism, sociopathy). That potential effort is better spent on civilization-building activities.

The gamesters celebrate and revere these “dark triad” traits (see more on this gamester hypocrisy below).

Coherent, useful, and corroborated with robust empirical evidence though it may be, the manosphere does not have the potential to save our civilization. After all, since the end goal of game is the seduction of women, its essence inevitably involves satisfying their sexual instincts. 

Exactly, and that is what I have long said is one fundamental paradox about the "manosphere" - it is allegedly about men's interests, and yet the advice given is for men to modulate their every word, action, and behavioral nuance to satisfy women's hypergamous instincts.  Included in this obsession with satisfying women is the gamesters’ promotion of dark triad psychopathic traits (a positive!  It’s attractive to women!), while, at the same time, the same gamesters hypocritically bemoan the loss of our “high trust society.”  Self-awareness must not be an “alpha male” trait.

However, the pillar of all higher civilizations from time immemorial has not been satisfying women’s sexual instincts but dismissing them, since, as mentioned above, the character traits that arouse women are inherently civilization-destroying.

Or, more simply: women are inherently civilization-destroying.

Indeed, the New Patriarchy would not just rein in liberated women but alpha males as well. After all, alpha males are the primary beneficiaries of sexual liberation. It is feral, liberated females who exalt alpha male traits, to the long-term detriment of individuals, families, and civilization. But alpha males traits are more important in primitive, warlike societies than modern civilizations. Alpha traits alone do not create civilizations, and in fact they frequently destroy them. Civilization is primarily created by beta males, and the purpose of the New Patriarchy is to enable such men to concentrate on their civilization-building activities, without the burden of worrying about finding and keeping a mate.

Of course, the "game" crowd will answer this essay with "well that's all well and good, but what should men do right now - before we restore the patriarchy?"

Perhaps one needs to distinguish "game" as a temporary tactic from "game" as a strategic worldview. In today's age, a bit of "game" may be necessary (which is one reason our civilization is crumbling) but the attitude of "men who care about race and civilization - they get no poosy" and that we should all just "sit poolside" while all around us crumbles - that needs to be rejected. The long-term strategy is patriarchy (which is NOT the same as "White Sharia" nonsense).

Excellent comment.  Indeed, I've known Spaniards who were vehemently "Catalonian" and not "Spanish."  On the other hands, I've seen websites of equally vehement Spanish nationalists.  And there are Spanish pan-Europeanists.  All levels are valid.

One can go to absurd levels of microcosms here.  Spanish or Catalonian? Catalonia or a specific attachment to Barcelona?  A particular neighborhood in Barcelona?  A particular pub in that neighborhood?  Or perhaps different tables in the same pub can form their own tribes?

We will.  Something that took me many years to learn, but which is now obvious, is that it is not possible to convince all people, or most people, or even perhaps very many people, of your views. What is more important: to convince the right people.  It is quite obvious that "radical individualists" are not the right people for racial nationalism.

Also: that "radical individualists" need and want a collective tribal wolfpack doesn't quite make sense.

As regards the main article: citing the Mafia as an example of a System-resistant group is ludicrous. With RICO, informers, targeted prosecutions, and sociopolitical issues, the Mafia today is a weak shadow of what it was in the past.  

The idea that the "Wolves" are going to resist the government like a Red Dawn scenario is equally ludicrous.

Several items.

I can't really disagree with certain elements of the Alt Right on this, although I would express it differently.  McCain is a despicable subhuman. But it is not "godly justice" or any other sort of justice.  McCain is old, and he's had cancer (skin cancer in that case) before. These things happen. Illness happens, accidents happens, bad things happen to people.  I'm not going to celebrate McCain's illness, but I'm not going to be a phony and pretend that I wish him well.  I do not wish him well.

Interesting that the leftist cuck Trump is so hostile to the most right-wing, anti-immigration member of his cabinet - oh, yes, ostensibly for the recusal.  Also, some "alpha male" Trump is, using womanly passive aggressive techniques to humiliate Sessions into resigning, rather than just firing him and/or demanding a resignation.  Trump treats "dreamers" better than Jeff "Howdy Doody" Sessions - that should tell you something.

And let us not forget Roissy stating that Sessions as Attorney General by itself was sufficient to justify Trump's election.  That's not working too well, is it?  In more ways than one, since Sessions has been an absolute mediocrity, so far, in his position. Sessions would have been a better choice for VP - that wouldn't have changed the election outcome, but would have provided Trump some impeachment insurance.  By analogy, Sessions could have been to Trump what Agnew was to Nixon, while Pence is to Trump what Ford ended up being to Nixon - an acceptable alternative for the Establishment.

Asians again.  Surprise!  Of course they support flooding America with the flotsam and jetsam of the world - it's an implicitly anti-White agenda, and as is so often discussed here, the existential meaning of Asians is hatred of Whites.

Genetic Variation and Environmental Interactions

Of interest, re: genetics, culture, and race, I note this methodology paper:

Identifying interactions between genetics and the environment (GxE) remains challenging. We have developed EAGLE, a hierarchical Bayesian model for identifying GxE interactions based on associations between environmental variables and allele-specific expression. Combining whole-blood RNA-seq with extensive environmental annotations collected from 922 human individuals, we identified 35 GxE interactions, compared with only four using standard GxE interaction testing. EAGLE provides new opportunities for researchers to identify GxE interactions using functional genomic data.                    

Basic findings were that environmental risk factors (e.g., substance abuse, exercise, BMI) can interact with genetic variation and affect gene expression. But the effects were modest, these were not large influences compared to other possible (e.g., additive) effects, and may have been affected by confounding factors (a possible problem when probing interactions for which there can be many variables).  In addition, some of the observed effects may have been in part epigenetic, presumably modifications due to environmental factors, rather than interactions between those factors and gene sequence variation itself.

On the one hand, the effects, being modest, cannot plausibly be invoked by anti-genetic determinists to prop up environment as the primary factor affecting gene expression (and, hence, eventual phenotype).  On the other hand, effects were observed, and these cannot be dismissed.  Of interest would be effects and interactions due to environmental factors other than those cited above.

Can culture, through its many manifestations, shaping the environment, interact with genetic variation to affect gene expression and, thus, phenotypic outcomes?  Would different ethnic and racial groups, characterized by group-specific genetic variation, exhibit variable gene expression when immersed in the same cultural environment?  Conversely, would genetically similar individuals and groups exhibit altered gene expression when placed in radically different cultural environments?  

And this goes beyond the more fundamental observation that genes affect culture (through the different phenotypes of culture creators, maintainers, or destroyers) and, conversely, culture can actually affect genetic variation itself (rather than just interact with it) by exerting selective pressure favoring one genotype over another.  Gene-culture cross-talk, if you will. See this old TOQ paper I wrote some time ago for more on that topic. Also, epigenetic effects, mentioned above, are another way in which culture can affect gene expression, but not to the extent, or in the manner, than the anti-determinists fervently hope.  The basic foundation for all of this is genetic variation; there is no evading that inconvenient (for some people) truth.

In summary, all of this bolsters the importance of genetic variation and, hence, genetic interests.  It also shows how reckless the globalists are in their indiscriminate mixing of genes and cultures (in Western nations).

Getting back to a point made here, one needs to remember that Liddell has a history of fossilized "movement" ethnic fetishism, previously noted, for example here and also here.

I observed no equivalent of jock culture; the overall dearth of masculinity among Nordic men is not a secret. Guys are mostly thin, well dressed, polite, and unprepared for a fight.

When Sunic made a similar point some years ago – albeit with less polite language – he was vilified.  Perhaps this author would be better received. One wonders – compare the modern description of “Nordic men” compared to that of the time of Karl X Gustav and, of course, earlier than that, the Vikings.  A Kempian racial “historian” of the future may as well claim that this drastic change in behavior has been due to “racial admixture.”  That’s not the case of course, and in cases like this, Frost’s “genetic pacification” is a more likely explanation – and for the Classical World as well.

While the "game" faction of the Alt Right praises the "Buck Negger" Trump for humiliating the aged "First Lady" of France, and while the ethnonationalist faction praises Trump's speech in Poland, let us consider what a "blood and soil," EGI-aware Trump should have said to the Europeans:

You want America to continue to be invested in NATO?  Sure we will - if and only if NATO adopts as a key mission protecting Europe from the migrant invasion and the overall threat from the Global South.  You need to obsess less over a hypothetical Russian threat from the East and focus more on the real and continuing invasion from your South.  America cannot continue a political-military alliance with nations lacking the slightest spark of self-preservation.

And if angry Europeans replied:

What about America being invaded from your own South?

Then the terms of the debate would have shifted very nicely, don't you think?

Consider that the System/Left hates Trump and will always hate him, and given his plummeting popularity at home, including losing his base, what does he have to lose by repeating the same farstreaming that was so successful during his Presidential campaign?

That is what a real "Buck Negger" would do.

Speaking of NATO and Europe, it is high time that Der Movement stop making excuses for the Germans.  When faced with ultra-cucked German behavior, including politics/voting, one often reads:

You cannot forget that Germany is an occupied country!  What about all those American troops there!  What else can you expect?

That is complete, outdated nonsense.  Newsflash: the Cold War is over, Germany is united, and Germany is now, by far, the most powerful and influential nation in the EU, essentially dictating policy to the rest of Europe. If Germans were to, in the next election, put the Far Right into power, what do you think America is going to do about it?  Is Trump going to order the US military to overthrow the elected German government and install Merkel back into power?

While I understand that Der Movement is incapable of criticizing Germanics - unless it is to say there are just much-too-much altruistic and individualistic (characteristics no doubt clearly on display during the National Socialist regime) - coddling the Germans does no one, least of all the Germans themselves, any good.

Can we begin to treat Germany as an adult nation, responsible for its own fate?  I mean, they are Aryan ubermenschen and all that, so some personal responsibility seems to be in order.

Why It Won't Work

Realism about the economic future.

One often reads smug economists and other “experts” who mock Trump’s idea (real or phony) of bringing back manufacturing jobs to America, and the overall wish of Trump supporters to “turn the clock back” against the “modern global knowledge economy.”

Putting aside all of our ideological biases against these elitist criticisms, let’s look closer at their practical argument: since the economic changes of America (globalism, a “knowledge-based” economy, creation and manipulation of ideas and information rather than of material goods) are inevitable and irreversible, those people not yet adjusted to this new economy must “adjust and be trained.”  In other words, all the unemployed factory workers and other blue collar workers must be re-educated and re-trained to become just like the elitists making such suggestions.

I trust that reasonable and reality-based rational people understand the absurdity of such recommendations.  But let’s spell it out for the sake of completeness; I’ll restrict myself to the two most obvious and major points.

First, given the normal distribution of intelligence and other cognitive and behavioral abilities and characteristics (including the mental flexibility to radically change professions) – and let’s not even get into the large racial differences in those metrics - it is unrealistic in the extreme to expect “re-education” and “re-training” to work for large sections of the American population. A significant portion of the American population simply do not have the intelligence and ability to adjust to the new global/knowledge economy.  And even if some of these people have – or had – the raw intelligence for such adjustments, many are simply too old and mentally inflexible.  And even if these people were capable of being educated to become high-powered information-based white collar professionals – who is going to pay for their education?  Who is going to pay for supporting these people and their families during the re-training period?  And who is going to hire retrained middle-aged red state blue collar workers as opposed to young college graduates and the constant influx of “high-skilled” immigrants?

So, no, that 55 year old unemployed coal miner from West Virginia is not going to become a software engineer, and even if he did, no one is going to hire him compared to a diseased 25 year old H-1B brownster from India.

Let’s be realistic.  Only an outrageous denial of human nature, and a denial of a realistic appraisal of human ability, can lead to ridiculous recommendations that economic upheaval can be avoided by transforming the entire left side of the Bell Curve into budding computer scientists, economists, and rocket engineers. It’s an impossible dream, and those who make such suggestions are maliciously mendacious.

Second, even if the impossible came true and all these people, the majority of the American population, were able to become white collar globalist professionals, there simply are not enough jobs available for all these people. How many computer scientists, economists, and rocket engineers do we need?  100 million of them? 200 million?

Putting aside the fact that “we” are importing “high-skilled” immigrants to compete with our existing native intellectual elites, the fact is that artificial intelligence automation will do to white collar jobs what robotic automation has been, and is, doing to blue collar jobs. There are not enough of these global/knowledge-based jobs now, and there will be fewer and fewer of such jobs in the decades to come.  So, we will try to shove a square peg in a round hole and train the masses for jobs that would not be available to them today and will not be available for anyone in the future?

In the short term, revolutionary upheaval can be avoided by instituting social credit/citizens dividend ideas – open payments to citizens – based on the nation’s productivity (productivity of the real educated elites and of automation) coupled to immigration restriction (one cannot combine social credit with open borders without bankrupting even a productive new economy).

In the long term, revolutionary upheaval is probably unavoidable.  While the far left of the Bell Curve will take the social credit, lounge around, and reproduce in Idiocracy fashion (Should such payments be tied to limiting reproduction of the less fit?  Yes, but is that realistic when the less fit a key political constituency? Or is democracy doomed in the new economy?), and the far right (no pun intended) of the Bell Curve may be actually involved in real work or at least occupy themselves with intellectual hobbies and pursuits, the grand middle of the population will be left adrift with no purpose and nothing to do.  They will form a revolutionary mass of disaffected people, waiting for direction, waiting for purpose, and waiting for action.

Troubles lie ahead.  Will we be able to take advantage of them?

The relevance of all of this to ethnic genetic interests should be obvious to those on Bell Curve's right side.

While I think the essay is mostly on the mark, one point he’s missing is that all those cold and rude Europeans may be cold and rude only to fellow Whites, while worshiping Color. Hasn’t anyone ever had a family member who exhibits disdain for their relatives (no matter how reasonable and helpful you are to them), but loves strangers?  Xenophilia is a (White) defect that operates on all levels of genetic interests.

And actually, it's not either/or.  It could be both - that certain Whites personally benefit from White Genocide and that Whites are particularly prone to produce such traitors due to lower levels of innate ethnocentrism. What is required here is honest study of the problem - not fossilized dogma nor Alt Right anecdotes.

Good Hood essay.  Question: has Hood thrown in his lot with AltRight.com? Will he show up at Counter-Currents?  I hope that credible authors like Hood won't restrict themselves to one side of this feud.

Roissy thinks the Russian-Trump Jr fiasco was a leftist set-up.  That may well be right.  That still doesn’t excuse Don Jr’s abysmal stupidity - indeed, it underscores it.  During a campaign, do you fall for such an obvious set up? Don Jr as Fredo is correct, but Don Sr is no Vito Corleone.

And will the FBI re-open the Clinton investigation? I note this: looking back, Fat Don’s problems seem to have all started after he said he would not support a Clinton investigation. He displayed weakness and the sharks smelled blood in the water and started really pouring in on with “Russia” and all the rest.  The opposition saw the reality: Trump the beta cuck.

If the Roissy narrative is correct, then the Trump administration needs to do something, act upon this, and prosecute those involved.  Doing something does not mean jackass tweets and/or wresting videos.

I essentially agree with Spencer’s analysis.  Did Jr do anything illegal?  I don’t see it. Treason?  Absurd (*).  On the other hand, let’s not let him off the hook that easily.

The bottom line is that Trump Jr is as stupid and politically clumsy as his father. Do you go personally to this meeting?  Ever hear of plausible deniability?  How about using cut-outs? Or…whatever – if you are the son of a Presidential candidate who is vehemently opposed by the media and the entire Establishment, you had better at least superficially keep up appearances.  Let others, several layers removed, do the “dirty work.”  It doesn’t matter that he did nothing wrong; in politics, appearance means as much (or more) than reality. Come on, Donnie Jr was on Celebrity Apprentice with dear old dad, doesn’t he know the power of appearance?

One thing Spencer could have mentioned – of all of Trump’s children, Don Jr seems the most right-wing and the most in tune with an at least Alt Lite right-wing populism, another reason to be targeted by the Deep State.

A side note: I’m certainly no phenotypist, but on the other hand, unlike what some of my detractors believe, I certainly do acknowledge the importance of racial phenotype (it just has to take a back seat to the genotype). This “Russian lawyer” – is she actually an ethnic Russian?  She looks like she could be ¼ or even ½ Chinese.  Raciology alert!  Maybe – hopefully – she is a non-Russian “Russian citizen.”

When all is said and done, Trump is an embarrassment.  Relevance to EGI? Thanks to the Alt Right, Trump’s civic nationalist phony right-wing populism has been connected in the public mind with Der Movement, so, like it or not, the outcome of the Trump Presidency will, in some manner, influence the direction of American activism.  Hopefully, we can all survive the damage being done by this lumbering buffoon.

In all honesty, the "crazy and bitter" Ted Sallis could do a better job as President.  Sallis in 2020!  Who should be my VP choice - Durocher or Silver?

Sino-Zionist collaboration is nothing new, and Bolton’s article outlines the long history of close ties between Jews and the Chinese.

Indeed, we can ask: is the superficial anti-Semitism of Silk Road White nationalism meant to distract gullible Whites from the growing Jewish-Asian alliance against White interests? After all, many “anti-Semitic hate incidents” are manufactured by Jews themselves; therefore, why not use crude anti-Semitic language to have deep state operatives infiltrate White nationalism to subvert its direction for the interests of Sino-Zionist collaborationists?

The Silkers also display their fundamental dishonesty by portraying the current nationalist divide as one between themselves and the juvenile jackasses of the Trump-worshipping Alt Right. There’s a third player in the game: non-Alt Right White nationalists who are unalterably opposed to the Silker agenda and who also are opposed to Fat Don and his cohort of lick-spittle Alt Right fanboys. In fact, except when Silkers crash Alt Right comments threads, the Alt Righters completely ignore the Silker faction. Consistent opposition to Silkism comes from a different direction.  

Durocher in Der News, 7/10/17

Der Movement marches on.

An analysis of race, nation, and culture in the writings of Herodotus could in theory be an interesting exercise, albeit one not directly relevant to actualizing our goals in our present (and future) reality.  Durocher’s Part I didn’t set off any alarm bells, but I knew it would just be a matter of time. Here we have Part II.  Let’s look at this self-contradictory paragraph, with the offending sections highlighted:

I would argue that Herodotus’ observations are eminently compatible with a scientific and evolutionary perspective on race/genetics and ethnicity. Race is, especially in geographically contiguous land masses, typically a clinal phenomenon, with gradual change in genetic characteristics (i.e. allele frequencies) as one moves, for instance, from northern Europe to central Africa. While intermarriage tends to spread genes, gene flow is slowed by geographical and ethno-cultural boundaries, leading to significant racial-genetic clumping and differentiation.

First, “northern Europe to central Africa” is not a “geographically contiguous land mass” – being interrupted by that thing usually called “the Mediterranean Sea.”  Further, while Africa itself is “contiguous” the Sahara Desert can impede gene flow.  So, “northern Europe to central Africa” is hardly the best choice for any discussion of clinal changes in gene frequencies.  Then he shifts gears and talks about factors causing “clumping and differentiation" including “geographical…boundaries” – which would actually be something to cite Europe-Africa about, rather than for clinal differences.  So: clinal or clumpy?

Which is it?  Answer: genetic differentiation tends to be more clinal within continental populations and more “clumpy” between such populations, although in some cases there could be some “somewhat clinal” clumpy differences within continental population groups and “somewhat clumpy” clinal differences at the edges separating some such groups.

Consider this from Durocher:

The birth of a nation, ethnogenesis, occurs when linguistic, cultural, and possibly genetic drift leads a particular population to acquire an ethnic identity distinct from its neighbors. Cultural chauvinism and ethnic sentiment work together in this, magnifying one another: cultural traits such as language and customs become more and more similar within the in-group, while differences with out-groups become more and more marked. Thus, a point on the genetic cline is hardened into a more-or-less discrete ethno-cultural node and genetic cluster: a nation. The degree of nationhood is defined precisely by the population’s level of genetic and cultural commonality.

Where did we ever read that before?  Oh, here:

Thus, over time, genetic boundaries can become ever-more-aligned to political and cultural boundaries, particularly when those boundaries are fairly impermeable, distinguishing quite distinct national, political and socio-cultural entities. 

Panmixia is NOT required for a better alignment of European genetic interests with actualization of a High Culture.  Given a strict "in/out" barrier, over time, given natural processes of low-level gene flow within both "in" and "out" coupled with drift and selection increasing distances between "in" and "out," the relative genetic distinctiveness between "in" and "out" will increase, and any potential areas of genetic overlap between "in" and "out" will no longer exist. 

We have gene-culture evolution becoming gene-High Culture evolution as well as gene-political system evolution. 

Hence, the association between genes and political boundaries goes in both directions.

How about this from Durocher:

One does not need a population with an absolutely “pure” lineage for ethnocentrism to be evolutionarily adaptive. On the contrary, one needs only sufficient genetic and cultural similarity for the members of the community to form a common identity and become a solidary in-group, and there must be greater average genetic similarity among individual in-group members than there is between individual in-group members and the members of out-groups they come into conflict with.

That sounds familiar as well:

However, regardless of how modern gene pools came to be, people are not genetically identical – there are differences in genetic kinship and hence in genetic interests, and it is there that we need to focus our attention. 

Premise 1 is false. Race does not depend on “purity.” Race can be defined different ways, but is essentially a genetically distinct subpopulation that is characterized by a suite of heritable (i.e., genetic) phenotypic traits distinguished from other such groups. There’s nothing in any reasonable definition of race that includes the idea that a race has to be a hermetically sealed group, absolutely isolated from all other groups from the beginning of time. Thus, racial preservation deals with races and their gene pools as they actually exist today, “warts” and all. The possible existence of past admixture does not in any way suggest that future admixture is inevitable, necessary, or desirable. The ethnic and genetic interests of any group are forward-looking, based on the present and looking toward the future. How the group came into existence – including via admixture – does not change the interests that group has in its continuity and preservation today. 

Of course, the concept of ethnic genetic interests (EGI) represents an argument against future admixture, particularly against admixture across wide racial lines; i.e., across a large genetic differentiation. EGI is forward-looking. Genetic interests are considered in the present, to influence decisions that affect the future. Admixture in the past affected the genetic interests of the people at that time. We cannot go back in time and alter decisions made by past peoples that created the ethnies and individuals that exist today. 

Today’s peoples are what they are, with genomes that are what they are. We cannot change that. We can only change what future generations will be like, what their genomes, and consequent phenotypes, will be. Genetic interests always look forward. So, again, any individual or ethny today, with whatever ancestral mix, has genetic interests, regardless of how their genomes came to be.

I could cite more, but sifting through my old writings to find either:

1) Ideas generated later regurgitated by the “movement” or

2) Any of the endless series of predictions I’ve made that have come true

Is a tiresome exercise.  Not as tiresome – predictably tiresome – as Der Movement, Inc. is though.
