There are some interesting subtexts to the movie First Blood, particularly when looked at through the lens of Der Movement. An insular High Truster group telling a White ethnic "we don't want your kind around here" despite that person's service to the broader group (America in the movie, pro-White activism for Der Movement) and using harassment (police tactics in the movie, who is White games and Sallis' Law in Der Movement) to try and force out the "intrusive" element. Then when the targeted person reacts, they're "crazy" and "criminal."

The old GNXP argument - any opposition to an influx of "high IQ" racially and culturally alien types is due solely to a personal selfish "fear of competition." God forbid that one doesn't want to see one's people race replaced, or that one is concerned with EGI, or is fearful of a hostile alien elite, or doesn't want cultural change. No, no, a thousand times no! It is that the buck-toothed Chinaman, spreading disease and engaging in the most ruthless ethnic nepotism (you see, Asians are allowed the ethnic nepotism that Whites are denied) is going to "take that promotion away from you."

Really, these "cognitive elitist" scum are so mendacious, it is incredible The "competition" argument can be turned on its head. Asian HBDers preach to Whites the lie that "ethnic nepotism is not adaptive" because they are afraid of White competition - they know that Asians benefit from practicing ruthless ethnic nepotism and they don't want the White competition to use the same tactics. After all, the status quo is a sweet deal. For example, White American Principal Investigators (PIs) are happy to hire and promote Chinese post-docs and research scientists, while Chinese PIs in America typically only hire and promote other Chinese. Therefore, over time, academic departments become predominantly Chinese, which the HBDers ascribe to "high Chinese IQ." Further, access to White living space, and the desire of some Whites to maintain that space for themselves is a form of competition - are Asians afraid of the competition from ethnocentric Whites?

The most White-hating Blacks still have to look in the mirror and see what they are. Which is precisely why they hate Whites so much in the first place.

All of the tallest buildings and statues, etc. are in non-White nations - in Asia. The hobbit hole twigs and branches crowd may not care, but these things are symbols of civilizational power, prestige, and confidence. Therefore, it is of importance; when the West was at its height of power, it had the grandest structures; now, it has been surpassed by the Asiatic. Perhaps Der Movement should care less about the size of Fuentes and Putin and more about the size of physical artifacts.

To those who say we need “immigration reform” and more (Latino) immigrants to “pick the crops” and “put food on our tables” I have some questions (apart from the obvious one of how a country like, say, Japan, is able to feed its population without importing countless hordes of unskilled Hispanics).  Let us assume we continue to import large numbers of Latinos to “pick our crops.”  Very well.  What happens when these workers grow old?  Who will “pick the crops” then?  Will the children and grandchildren of our current immigrants do so – a hereditary caste of crop pickers?  No, they will not; they will not want to do so. They will want to be upwardly mobile, using whatever legal or illegal non-agricultural careers to make their way.  And they will need to eat too, will need someone to “put food on the table” for them as well. So, who “pick the crops?’’ Answer – yet another influx of hordes of unskilled, alien immigrants.  And when they’re done, another influx, and another, each generation requiring countless unskilled immigrants and each generation of immigrants leaving their posterity as a permanent addition to the population.  Isn’t this so?  And doesn’t that mean that America is going to be filled up with tens or hundreds of millions of the descendants of people brought in the “pick crops?”  Doesn’t that mean that this demographic Ponzi scheme will crowd out, will replace, the original population just so that the agricultural interests can have cheap workers and that consumers can have food a bit cheaper than of other nations that choose not to replace their population with crop pickers and the descendants of crop pickers? Shouldn’t we consider the long term consequences of your request for “more workers?” Further, what ever happened to the idea that the “free market can solve any problem” and that “don’t worry, innovation will solve our problems?” How come the “free market” and “innovation” fail in the specific case of finding alternatives to race replacement immigration in order to put “food on our tables?”  And doesn’t cheap labor stifle innovation by lessening the need?  Haven’t slave labor societies been scarce with mechanical innovation throughout history for that reason (among others)?

Lawrence offers nothing of value, which essentially sums up the entire Affirmative Right site.

Gee...I think the accusations of Quota Queens being grifters is hitting a bit too close to home. No, sorry, I don't buy the logic there. Whether or not someone believes in what they say is irrelevant to being a grifter - if they are essentially tricking people in giving them money by pretending to be, or achieve, something they are not - that is in my opinion grifting, regardless of their ideological beliefs. And I have already argued against the "why would they get involved in activism under their own names if they weren't sincere" trope. Look, maybe they originally got involved for sincere reasons, then decided things were hopeless and/or that they themselves were hopeless and incompetent, but then became "trapped" because they had no way back to a normie career. Tenured academics have job security unparalleled anywhere but in government jobs, and spend most of their time either indoctrinating students with “woke” ideology or lapping up taxpayer money on vanity projects posing as “research.” 

More “movement” lies. Or, at least, partial lies. First, tenure is increasingly rare in academia; here I mean real tenure – much of what passes for “tenure” today is simply a title that has zero effect on job security.  Even with real tenure, rightist professors have been “cancelled” for saying and writing the wrong thing. And the description of academic "activity” does not accurately describe much of STEM. Maybe "philosophy PhDs" spend most of their time like that, I don't know.

I was one of perhaps five white students in the entire program; almost all were Chinese. I felt foreign in an American classroom in my home state, surrounded by students who looked nothing like me speaking a language I couldn’t understand.

This was most apparent when we were sent to find real datasets and work through statistical analyses. Real data is messy — Google cannot help you. It requires an actual understanding of statistics, common sense, and creativity in order to understand what data might be telling you. The Asian students tried to parrot examples from our textbooks which were developed with simple, contrived data, and their results were a laughable mess. They were unable to answer hard questions about their work on the theoretical basis, they were unable, and they didn’t grasp any of the assumptions or limitations of their models. But they always aced the tests.

A simple online search yields hundreds of results of Chinese cheating rings for various college entrance exams, including the one for mathematics. This pervasive cheating cost me admission into several universities, since they only accepted the top decile of scorers on this exam. When Chinese and Indian students cheat their way to a perfect score on this exam, this places those of us who took the exam honestly out of the running. 

Asians cheat. Then the HBDers use the “high test scores” to foam at the mouth about Asian “cognitive elitism.”

As for the Asian students and professors, let me dispel the myth that they’re smarter than white students. Asians almost always head straight for the algorithmic disciplines in mathematics such as numerical analysis or theoretical computer science. This is because they can rack up publication counts by marginally tweaking someone else’s work. There is no creativity or originality of thought, and I saw firsthand their abysmal performance in topics like functional analysis, probability, and modern algebra. If they haven’t seen it first done by someone else, they are stuck. They can recite proofs of theorems professors like to use on exams, but they’re completely lost when confronted with something they’ve never seen.

Much is said about the extensive intellectual property (IP) theft from Chinese employees. I can corroborate this. One coworker would disappear for weeks on end, ignoring pleas and calls to see his code so I could verify his published results. Most of his publications acknowledged “help” from people in China. We always suspected that he farmed the work out to people in Asia. We pushed hard enough that he quickly left for Uber. He was probably “double-dipping” and collecting a salary from both companies. This is more common than non-tech workers might think, particularly by Chinese and Indians. Some get caught, but most don’t. I always had to watch for coworkers trying to steal my code.

Whether attending a birthday party or a social event, people have sometimes referred to me as being “the life of the party.” There have also been times where I found myself excluded from my social circle and community. 

The lack of self-awareness is simply astonishing.

Recently, I found myself not being invited to a birthday party that some of my other friends were invited to.

I suppose they figured that freakish autistes would ruin the mood.

Although I always try to stay positive and optimistic, I couldn’t help but feel ignored and forgotten. 

How about wondering why no one wants to be around you?

Unfortunately, social circles are often filled with drama. Two guys become rivals, so going to a friend’s party means that I become the enemy of the rival and his friends. This may seem immature and childish, but this also happens in the Dissident Right. 

Hey!  Don’t be “crazy and bitter” now!  

Supporting certain content creators means that you sometimes become the enemy of another content creator and their supporters. Even if you try to stay neutral, sometimes you end up being ignored and abandoned by your community. Such is the nature of life and social circles.

Especially when you associate with a Drama Queen who ends up feuding with everyone in the “Dissident Right.”

As much as we try not to care or worry about these things, there may be some evolutionary reasons why we get bitter and resentful when our social circles abandon us.

Whenever I find myself not invited to a social event or party…

…I try to put my feelings aside for a moment and analyze the situation. Could it be that it was simply a misunderstanding? 

No, they simply don’t want to be around you, and for good reason.

There have been a few times when a mutual friend confirmed that the person holding the event did not have my current contact information. Or they mistakenly thought that I did not want to come to their event. 

Sure, sure.

After clearing things up, I ended up going to these events and having a great time. There have also been times where I found out that I wasn’t invited to an event because someone at the event didn’t want me to be there. In a situation like this, I think it is important to find out whether it is one person or numerous people who do not like you.

Believe me…it’s “numerous.”

I learned early in life that despite your best efforts, not everyone is going to like you or be your friend. If there is one person in your social circle that doesn’t like you, my best advice is to continue going to social events and ignore them. This can cause a different set of issues, but you should never let one person force you to miss out on life and social events. The real dilemma comes when two or more people in your social circle convince the others not to invite you to parties or events. 

Friberg pay attention.

This situation has happened to me a few times in my life, and both times caused me to reflect on myself and ask some tough questions. Have my actions and behaviors caused people in my community to not want to associate or spend time with me? 

Yes.

After analyzing the situation, I concluded that it was better to spend the evening alone. 

Evening after evening after evening. “Mom’s basement” is looking better and better, huh?

This metaphor perfectly summarizes the balance between being a bold individual and calming your ego to get along with a group.

When reading these essays, I eventually realized that I wasted a lot of time and energy over not being invited to a party. Nevertheless, I ended up having a great evening and was happy that I discovered Schopenhauer’s writings.

This navel-gazing childish drivel is reflective of the extent to which Counter-Currents content has collapsed.

Being invited to a party or an event feels great, but it is not the end of the world if I am not invited to some events or disliked by certain people. Some things are just not meant to be. 

A world historical problem solved.

Despite all the fun I had partying with metal bands in my 20s, the last few years in the Dissident Right have been some of the best times of my life. I have made a lot of great friends who have started to form their own networks and communities. 

From which you will not be invited.

A former Counter-Currents writer of apparent Italian ancestry and probably a late Boomer of [sic] early Ge-Xer. His name is believed to be a pen name derived from a Marvel comics character. Unluckily for him, he was too straight for Greg Johnson's online journal, and fell out with Johnson on the gay question sometime in 2016. His writing can now be found at his rather dull blog EGI Notes.

Unlike certain other folks, I’m not going to screech that this is “scurrilous” (it is rather tame), but I instead will correct one error (not the spelling/grammar error of “of/or”). Thus, while I’m not going to comment about the “apparent” swarthoid ancestry, or “pen name,” or the opinion of this blog being “rather dull,” I’d like to correct something about “fell out with Johnson.” True, I’m heterosexual and I would have left writing for Counter-Currents by 2016 or so due to the increasingly pro-homosexual propaganda there (*). But I had stopped directly writing for Counter-Currents before then, and the real falling out, which occurred much earlier, was mainly due to Johnson’s tolerance of, and promotion of, the scum Andrew Hamilton. I wrote a lot about Hamilton’s Counter-Currents writings at my “rather dull blog” at that time, and those are in the archives here. 

Johnson continued to reproduce my “rather dull” blog posts at Counter-Currents for several years (without asking me, by the way), and I continued to sometimes comment there, but that ended several years ago when Johnson “banned” me due to my criticism of the Hermansson infiltration and my overall critiques of the “movement.” Later Twitter comments by Johnson suggested that others had been urging him to have nothing to do with me, and I can imagine who those individuals were – the usual array of “movement” grifters and incompetents.

Some of the information about other people on that Affirmative Right post is useful, or at least amusing, but I note that Liddell likes to critique the physical appearance of people on the so-called “Dissident Right,” and shares the bizarre obsession over height that many in Der Movement apparently have. Hypocritically, Liddell writes about Duke:

Indeed they are. Let’s not focus on "personal optics" or anything like that, right?  Yes, focusing on the physical appearance of other men "gives off a weirdly sub-masculine vibe,” I agree. The lack of self-awareness there is astonishing. 

I do praise Liddell for this description of Durocher though:

Seriously though, I really don’t get it. Yes, I understand that, in a race-based “movement,” phenotype is of relevance. But there’s a difference between something being relevant in a general sense, and an obsessive fixation on the physical appearance of other men. I honestly could care less what any of these people look like and to what measurement the top of their head would reach in a mug shot. Then I lived in a predominantly Hindu town. That was no walk in the park, either. You'd have a hard time believing that was California: It looked more like freakin' Delhi or Bombay, minus the open sewage and the beggars with leprosy. Even though the Hindus were white collar IT workers and didn't fire guns, smoke crack or start fights in the middle of the night, they were still quite rude and uncivilized. Extremely high pitch screeching banshees (Indian music) has replaced the window shattering bass. They were arrogant, rude, always frowning and irritating. Their brainless wives and kids ran in the parking lot all the time, I was surprised a bunch of them didn't get killed.

Once I had to knock the door of the morons upstairs cause they woke me up with vacuum noise well after midnight. I was so pissed I went out of bed straight to their door in my pj's, looking like a zombie. When I asked what the heck they were doing, they said their kid spilled something on the carpet and they were cleaning it up with the carpet washer! 3rd world idiots probably got too excited and bought every appliance they could lay their hands on. Wiping the carpet with a wet towel is apparently too much of a hassle after they crawl out of their dunghole country!

The other Hindus didn't make much noise but their uncivilized little brown chimp kids did. They gave everyone a headache at the pool by constantly screaming and splashing water on people, and the management did nothing despite all the complaints filed by the handful of white residents. Even though the adult Hindus didn't make much noise except for the idiots with the carpet washer, they made the entire apartment complex reek of greasy food. It reeked so bad you could not breathe in the corridors. They also reeked real bad when you passed near them, they were apparently too broke to buy personal hygiene products after spending all of their money on electronics and gadgets. On top of that, they were breeding a swarms of cockroaches and some of them didn't want to let the pest control treat their apartment cause of their ridiculous beliefs. They believe in reincarnation nonsense, so according to their primitive religion, the cockroaches could be their dead freinds/relatives/whoever and shouldn't be touched!

Another ridiculous 3rd world behavior of theirs was to swim in the swimming pool with long dresses and turbans. Can you believe that? Hindu women swam with long, bulky dresses and the Sikh guys were swimming with their turbans! This is disgusting and a threat to the hygiene.

That was a once decent high income California neighborhood that has descended into 3rd world levels -not pricewise of course, but qualitywise. Nowadays you pay 1300-2000 a month or more to live with that scum, in apartment complexes that cater to the Hindus, displaying Hindu movies in their club rooms and harboring 3rd world savages acting like they are in the Ganges when they use the swimming/spa facilities, stinking up the whole place, breeding roaches and giving any American dirty looks that read 'no more American way of life, you bow to the Indian way of life!' Whites get the most arrogant stares of course.

Then there were the slant eyes. They also had cockroach problems (I have seen GIANT Asian cockroaches come out of the backdoors of Vietnamese restaurants, even $$$ ones), habit of yelling with their irritating language and wife beating. I really got sick of calling the cops on the orientals beating up their wives.

After all these years of suffering and humiliation -I can't think of any other word to describe a situation where you pay $$$ to live in 'upper class' apartments dominated by 'educated' savages with 3rd world habits- I'm really glad to live in a predominantly whie [sic] city and a predominantly white neighborood. I think you’re right about this. In the neighborhood where I grew up, you were either Irish or Italian, and it was clear the Italians weren’t white.

We could in theory extend that analysis to other types of people, but, for example, examining the racial worth and "whiteness" of autistic defectives isn't worth the time. And, after all, Goad, who is mysteriously sensitive on this subject, tells us that only "dumb and inarticulate" people use the term "autistic." Very well. So, a question remains: Is being "colorblind" about Blacks consistent with "caring more about facts than social approval?" One would think it the opposite, no?

The scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in “True Romance” is instructive in this regard.

Note how Sallis' Law applies well in this case.  Here we have a Goad essay ostensibly about Black criminal gangs and, of course, it devolves into a discussion about the "whiteness" (or lack thereof) of Italians. After all, what "movement" discussion doesn't end up focusing on that topic?  Godwin's Law has nothing on Sallis Law.

The problem with that whole comments thread was that wop who decided to show up and complain. Why bother?  Just acknowledge that Counter-Currents is an anti-White ethnic, pro-HBD, pro-homosexual site dedicated to raising "D'Nations" and dedicated to promoting HBD-Nordicism-ethnonationalism (actually, ethnoimperialism) and move on. Start your own blog, do your own thing, and just scan Counter-Currents to stay up-to-date to what the opposition is doing; if you want to criticize them, do it in your own forum, or in another forum that supports the interests of all Europeans, instead of supporting the interests of "Rosie and the kids."

And as regards the crude images at Richard Lynn's Pseudoscience - that was openly a satiric blog, openly mocking HBD stupidities - unlike Counter-Currents, there was no pretense there of being the "Ivy League" of WN. The same with satiric content at this blog.

So, Johnson’s reply implies alliances between European states against other European states – precisely the sort of petty nationalistic politics than brought us two world wars and the wrecking of the White world. Thanks, ethnonationalism!  And why should those alliances only be between European states?  If Denmark is threated by Germany, why shouldn’t the Danes make an alliance with China or India?  Doesn’t Denmark have the “sovereign right” to make foreign policy, to make alliances, as they see fit?  Ethnonationalism!

San Marino, Monaco, Lichtenstein wouldn’t last 30 minutes if a larger European nation wanted their territory (although if Mussolini tried to take San Marino, the Italian “army” would likely have been quickly defeated and Il Duce would have called the Germans in to help).

Those nations exist because they are so small, powerless, and pathetic that they threaten no one and conquering them was not worth the trouble, including the international criticism and ridicule that a major state would garner for bothering such a micro-state (or, in the case of Italy, being defeated by one).

A more reasonable example would be, e.g., Belgium, a small nation repeatedly over-run and conquered by more powerful neighbors (dem dere “alliances” didn’t help too much, eh?).

You know, cities with sanitation, multi-store buildings, etc.

The argument is completely outrageous. This is like saying that a person can understand calculus but not arithmetic. Or can write like Kafka or Dostoevsky, but cannot learn the “A, B, C”. It is absolute 100% crap.

“Nordics” did not achieve more than SE for some 4,000 years because they are not more intelligent. Simple as that. Are the NE more intelligent than the Chinese too, who were also far more advanced than NE for 4,000 years too?

How do you explain the German in the south of Brazil, that are barely better than the typical Brazilian?

Except that you are completely wrong. The most culturallly accomplished Greek city state was Athens, which was considered *the most heavily Pelasgan* of all the Greek city-states. The Pelaasgans were the original Greeks before the Indo-European invasions. The Dorians, the Indo-Europeans, were considered barbarians by the original Greeks. They not so much “created” Greek civilization but usurped it. In fact, this seems to be the pattern with northern Europeans: unable to create any sort of civilization of their own, at least the most fundamental level, they only progress by copying the civilizations of the “inferiors” they conquered. This was true of the Dorian invaders in Greece, and the Indo-Aryan invaders of India.
