We combined these data sets with additional 32 modern-day and 46 ancient human genomes to reconstruct genetic histories of several indigenous Northern Eurasian populations. We found that Siberian and East Asian populations shared 38% of their ancestry with a 45,000-yr-old Ust’-Ishim individual who was previously believed to have no modern-day descendants. Earning trust through financial transparency and accountability goes beyond what the law requires, but let’s start there: Nonprofits are required to disclose certain financial information to the public upon request; board members have access to financial information in order to fulfill their fiduciary duty to the nonprofit. Czech election results. Czech election results are mildly encouraging although Babis as a center-right populist makes one remember America’s own current disappointment who a center-right populist (or someone posing as one). Ten we have some success for the Czech “Far-Right” – in this case led by a half-Japanese with an inconsistent history on the immigration issue. On the positive side, this all shows healthy instincts among Czech voters; on the negative side, one wonders of this is the Central European version of the “Man on White Horse” syndrome. We’ll see.

Something positive about the Alt Right. I have been critical of the Alt Right, including Spencer, when called for, and will continue to do so (something about the latest Jorjani fiasco will be out soon).  But the converse is true as well: when these guys do something right, I’ll support them. Book review. I have previously written about George Smiley in Le Carre books , and how it applies to my criticism of the “movement.”  I may as well make a brief statement about the latest (likely, last) Smiley book, Legacy of Spies . I would give this book, at most, three stars out of five; it is a pale and weak successor to masterpieces like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Smiley’s People .  An insipid story premise, a flaccid structure and pace, and, finally, an ending that comes to no real conclusion whatsoever. Not good at all. From a nationalist perspective, at the end of the book, Smiley (who must be over 100 years old at this point), is revealed as an anti-Brexit Europhile. An Alt Right blog, integrally involved in the “Steadgate” infiltrations scandal complains: Since then, we have gotten back a little more than half of the monthly amount we were receiving, but only about a third of our monthly donors. That is in reference to the post-Charlottesville deplatforming, and the diagnosis is that it is the cumulative decision of “small donors” not to bother signing up for new platforms on the premise that their small donations won’t make a difference (a difference for what exactly is another story).
