Der Movement fails again. I’ve written about this before, but I will do so again here. Having Der Movement throwing its lot in with anti-vaxxers (and other conspiritard types) is a major strategic error. It is tempting for the Quota Queens to do this since it can have short-term tactical advantages, such as plugging into the pre-existing FOX News/Gab crowd – i.e., the same folks who consider Blacks to be “Children of God” and who disavow “White supremacists.” But the dubious short-term tactical advantages of associating with irrational right-wing Luddites is more than offset by the long-term strategic error of alienating highly-educated professions, particularly STEM people (*).
