East Asians are sometimes assumed to have evolved in a cold environment because of their narrow nostrils, which conserve heat, and the extra eyelid fat that insulates the eye. But the Broad team calculates that the EDAR variant arose about 35,000 years ago in central China and that the region was then quite warm and humid. Extra sweat glands would have been advantageous to the hunter-gatherers who lived at that time.
East Asians are a TROPICAL people, having evolved, like sub-Saharan Africans, in a “quite warm and humid” environment.

The Unzians and the rest of the HBDers can engage in their name-calling (“crazy, bitter, paranoid”) but the science stands and the historical analysis stands and cannot be responsibly and honestly evaded – after the split from Europeans, East Asians evolved in a TROPICAL (“quite warm and humid”) environment and hence, are a TROPICAL, colored, global south race. Derbyshire’s “Arctic Alliance” is exposed as an anti-scientific, anti-historical fraud. Sallis’ claim that East Asians are part of a South-South or Tropical Alliance is, of course, correct.

Given that Japanese participants tend to show the strongest preference for femininity of male faces among those in both Western and non-Western cultures…
So much for sexual dimorphism in East Asians.  SALLIS RIGHT AGAIN.

It is one of the enduring features of post-war America. Pat Buchanan pointed it out way back in the 1980’s, when he observed that the people vote conservatives to Congress, only to see them go native in a few years. It is a remarkable transformation made more obvious in the communication age. You can just follow the person’s social media feed to see the transformation. They go from representing their people in Washington to Washington’s representative to those people.
The question that has vexed the genuine Right is why this seems to be a phenomenon of the Right and not the Left. There are no examples of left-wingers going to Washington and becoming moderates…
Maybe that’s because “conservatism” is an intellectually vacuous, uninspiring creed – “let’s stand athwart history” – while progressivism (“progress” and all that) has within it an inspiring (albeit crazed and wrongheaded) goal of transforming society according to a real ideology. People are not going to mount the ramparts to try and block the progress of history. No one wants to share a foxhole with William Buckley. It’s not difficult for “conservatives” to “go native” because they never actually believed in anything substantial in the first place.  All “conservatism” is is an attempt to freeze the present, or go backwards to the past, all it is is an attempt to block the Left. It’s defensive, it is boring, it is uninspiring. Zman on the other hand is on record as opposing an ideological, revolutionary, Far Right. So we  are left with what then?  Nothing.  That’s what Der Movement and its representatives like Zman have to offer – nothing.
That reformist impulse has its roots in the founding. On the one hand, those people we call Puritans were collectivists reformers. They believed society was judged collectively, which gave them license to police the community for sinners. Advancing society, social progress, meant bringing the bottom up in a spiritual sense. On the other hand, a man’s relationship with God was his alone. Self-sufficiency was a sign of God’s grace, an indication that the person was in good standing with the Lord.
Both sides of this coin are quite radical, relative to Western tradition. In fact, it is fair to say the Puritans were anti-tradition. They stripped their houses of worship of all ornamentation and any reminders of past practice. They saw tradition and ritual as an excuse for not exercising the spirit through the regular study of Scripture. The collective impulse of the founding, as well as its individualism, are the result of a rejection of European traditionalism on spiritual grounds.
This is why reform in America has been impossible.
When it Hampton going to criticize this anti-Puritan commentary?  You know, once Hampton is finished looking under rocks for those two inch tall greasy anti-Puritan afrowops who somehow survived Humphrey Ireland’s frantically stomping feet.
