An Italic Point to Ponder

Italians.

Jeelvy claimed that Italy is dysfunctional because North and South Italy are together in the same nation. This is wrong – Italy is dysfunctional because it is populated by Italians. If Italy was to be separated into separate Northern and Southern Italian nations, both would be as dysfunctional as Italy is today. However, the problem is not all Italians, but that significant fraction of the Italian population that is composed of mattoids.

Italy became biologically and culturally exhausted from the biocultural explosion of the Roman Empire; while there were some resurgences later, like the Renaissance, there was not enough human capital to sustain that over time. Futurism was a potential cultural antidote, which was predictably dissipated, but there is also a desperate need for a massive eugenic biological improvement. The mattoid fraction of the population needs to be eliminated from the gene pool.

Consider the Italian response to the biological attack by China. I have written about this before – the Italians essentially confirmed all of their negative stereotypes (weak, feckless, superficial, la dolce vita, wine and women and song, the anvil of history, interested in music and art not science and technics, hedonism not blood and iron, etc.) by “singing on balconies.” And that followed "hug an Asian." That’s a world historical embarrassment that won’t quickly be forgotten.

I have also previously written about how amoral familism is not collectivism, and that must be true given that a major problem of Italy is the lack of disinterested investment in collective social goods and a sole focus on the family (blood or criminal).  Consider the mafia, which in Italy engages in human trafficking of illegal Afro-Asiatic migrants, thus aiding in the invasion of their own nation for money; in America, they engaged in business deals with Black leaders at the same time those Negroes were leading their own people against Italian American communities.

But amoral familism is not truly individualism either, obviously – it is a hybrid. It is individualism extended to a group, or it is a form of completely aberrant collectivism fit for a genetically heterogeneous ethny. Thus, given the greater genetic heterogeneity in Southern Europe, such as in Italy, true collectivism cannot work well, and instead the collective impulse is focused on more concentrated areas of genetic interests, like the extended family, or faux-family stand-ins for the extended family, such as a criminal family.

One may hypothesize that Southern Italy would have greater genetic heterogeneity than Northern Italy, given the greater amoral familism in the South (but the North is also dysfunctional due to a lack of collective social goods).

The movie The Conclave features the following quote:

...never very brave Italian heart...that has mortal fear of the French army.

Well, that’s the contempt expected toward an ethny known for “la dolce vita” and “singing on balconies” and “wine, woman, and song.”  Act the fool, get treated like the fool.

Note that no one is saying "never very brave German heart" which would sound ludicrous. For virtually any ethny, it would defamatory, but for Italians it fits.

In 2020, the Italian people had a chance to redeem themselves with the covid-19 pandemic; they could have met the crisis with courage and dignity, and openly defied the Chinese genocidal attack on Italy and on the rest of humanity. But, no, instead we observed "singing on balconies."

Pathetic.
